I have a 1st gen fortuner d4d and I suffered from its engine problems. ang problema kasi sa Toyota NUON (I dunno ngayon) is parang ayaw nila magadmit ng recall! pag dinala mo sa casa chaka nila sasabihin sayo na may problema & komo after warranty na nila natuklasan yung d4d defect ayun. Which in hindsight dapat nilaban kona di bayaran, wala lang ako time nuon. After that naman my 2006 fort is still ok, nasa akin pa sya ngayon. So if fort ang bibilhin ko, I guess dapat maghintay pa ako ng 1 or 2yrs para kung ano man ang defect e masolusyonan na muna nila.
MUx I like the porma but im not so familiar with the Isuzu brand. yan na lang ang di ako nagkakaroon e. pero from what I heard maganda naman daw ang engine ng Isuzu (?)
Interiior wise, mas roomier for me ang old fort vs mux (as nakita ko sa display)
I dunno if both have navigation. or kung ano sound system nila, I still have to find out....
pero ngayon wait and see muna ako....
Montero, parang tulo ng kandila ang ilaw sa likod.... not my type
ford uhhhh
Nissan xtrail, baka magmahal ulit gasoline e

April 26th, 2016 01:18 PM #30Ito rin problem ko bro.
2nd Gen Fortuner has transmission problems that cause jerking feeling while driving. Pero all in all, maganda in looks ang Fortuner pero barebones sobra for the price. No reverse cam or even sensor, Manual ang aircon, Yellow Fabric sa G (Really ugly, imo), Still Insert Key Ignition sa G(Arte lang).
MU-X naman, Okay talaga. No issues since tried and tested but the Euro 2 Engine and medyo not so cool Interior and Exterior ang problema. Pero at least you get a lot of stuff ( leather seats, push start, auto climate control, reverse cam, cruise control, hill start assist, etc) compared to the Fortuner.
Nagdecide na talaga ako bumili ng Fortuner but when I heard about the transmission problems, Ayaw ko ng repeat sa D4D issue ng Fortuner dati. So I'm currently undecided. Should I just gamble and buy Fortuner for the looks and wish that umok or buy the Just OK MU-X with more features and leather seats but ISUZU brand?
HAY!
Matagtag ba ang MU-X vs Fortuner? Sana may makagive insights.
Though not on a people carrier like the Innova, I have Yokohama es32 equipped on my Sylphy since...
