My biggest problem is insurance. Susko their accredited insurance is 33k! Hyperinflationary lang considering the 6 year gap.

Ano po bang the best insurance with the best price. Well, ayaw ko naman din ng mura pero pahirapan sa claiming if ever na malasin. I think the 33k price for a year for the insurance is quite ridiculous!
Most likely may patong na nila yan.

As long as the car is with the dealer, gagawing demo unit yan.

I recently got a new car. It took a few weeks before it was released due to some technicalities. The agent and i never met but the car has been paid already.

Then out of boredom, i went to the dealership to inquire and see a car. I was brought to the back, where a unit is parked, open the door and took a tour inside. That car is mine. i know the conduction plate in advance.

    this is true.
my friend-the-SA tours me 'round the back, for variants that are not available in the shiney showroom.
"dok, baka ganitong variant or model ang gusto nyo..".. and he explains to me what the subtle differences are..

Oh, and if I may add... those "freebies?"

Actually, binayaran mo rin yan. All factored in sa purchase price.

I was able to do that at a Mitsubishi dealership.

The SA told me the unit she was showing me (out in the back) was sold already. "Lilinisan lang"
Though I sat inside and put my hands on the wheel, I dusted my feet before climbing in, out of respect lang dun sa new owner.

A little OC, I know, pero "Do unto others..."

    yespo.
all those so-called freebies, are all part of the presyo that you pay for.
what you can try to do, should you find the freebies un-appealing, is to "i don't like your freebies too much. can you give me something else? for example, i want..."

Na mention ko yan once to an SA-

ME: "Pero alam naman natin, actually binili mo rin yung mga yan" (I'm smiling in a friendly manner, hindi naman sarcastic, as if sharing a secret with a friend)

    ME: *speechless*

I wonder where & what kind of dealership that would be. They just give you the keys and manual? I doubt it na walang aangal! Probably just kwentong barbero este, salestalk from the SA.

if a costumer does not want freebies, then so be it.
if the SA does not include the freebies...

    you notice,
even if the price of the car were advertised by the manufacturer as a promo price in the broadsheets, some SAs will still insist on "another, higher, price".
and surprisingly, meron pa ring kakagat.
