pwede yan sir. 4 channel amp= 2ch hi-pass front, 2ch low pass in bridge mode for sub(kung supported ng amp mo ang bridge mode and have enough power to drive a decent sub).

Hi, Nag upgrade ako ng stock speakers ng Santa Fe ko. Current HU is Pioneer 2850bt, 4 channel amp, Separates, Coaxials, deadening on all 4 doors and a 12 inch slotport subs.


Problem ko is nawala yung sound ng mga palo ng drums (midbass?). Yung stock speakers ko meron nun before.. Ano po need i adjust sa amplifier or HU para maibalik yung midbass?

Check your highpass filter sa setting ng h.u. or amp and try to lower its cut-off.

guys saan maganda install ang power amplifier sa pajero intercooler? yung ilalim kasi ng driver and passenger may aircon vent sa ilalim. pag sa ilalim ng 2nd row naman masikip tska may tatamang bakal.

kailangan parin po ba ng separates kapag maglalagay ka ng midrange/midbass speakers, pwede po ba front and back ng sedan midrange speaker lang ..... salamat

Personal preference ang pag-add ng amp at sub. Depende yan sa objective mo. Bitin ka sa power, add amp. Bitin ka sa bass, add subwoofer.

Ano ano po mga difference ng mga deadening products sa market natin? Quote kasi sa isang shop sa SF ko 5k for 2 doors. While yung Acoustipad 2k for 2 doors. Kung DIY nga yung Acoustipad 250 lang per 2ft x 3ft sheet.


Also ano po mas recommended. Naka amplify kasi yung front and rear speakers ko. Much better ba kung di ko na gamitin yung HPF sa amp on front and rear channel at sa HPF na lang ng Pioneer 2850bt ang gamitin?

With regards on using the filters on your amp or HU. You neither use one of them since your speakers comes with passive filters already. Just turn off the HPF on the HU and set the the filters of the amp to off or all pass. If the amplifier does not come with the option of setting the filters to off or all pass, leave the settings to HPF.

Yung Acoustipad may variant siya na may aluminum layer and meron yung all black lang na material. I chose yung may alumnum layer and consume 2.5 sheets per door.

Not a maximum power transfer...

Assuming 12v, power on the speaker will be 64/8 or 8W... Vs 4 ohm speaker with power of 36/4 or 9W...

Should be "okay"

The 8ohm speaker will recieve half of the rated power output the amp gives *4ohms. If for example the amp gives 100watts *4ohms, a 8ohm speaker will only get 50watts. This is because a 8ohm speaker has double the RESISTANCE of a 4ohm speaker.

Speaker impedance is not fixed. It changes with frequency. An 8 ohm speaker may be 8 ohms now, but could change to 2 ohms in an instance and 16 ohms in another instance. Same goes with 4 ohms speakers.

Nope normal speaker characteristic yan. Wag lang sobra underpowered yung speaker for a long time. Kung normal listening level, walang problem in most cases.

There's nothing wrong with a speaker being underpowered. What's dangerous is when you do the opposite -- overpowering (aka turning the volume knob as if you're trying for 180dB) as it leads to mechanical failures (ex. burnt coils, etc.)

What's dangerous is an uninformed person having a low-wattage amplifier. More often than not, he's turning the volume all the way up and then damaging the poor speaker in the process.
