Di naman basta-basta nasisira yung amps basta properly installed. Kung di mo naman i-max-out yung gains ng output, no chances of it burning out. Also, branded amps have their quality checks so it will not be as unreliable as those unbranded V12s common in the market.

Saan mo ba gagamitin yung class D amp? For loud purposes ba? Mas malakas kasi output ng class D kasi less yung power loss. If you're looking for just in-car listening with focus on sound quality, you can always count on class A/B amps, specially from noted manufacturers like DLS, Focal, Rockford Fosgate, Audison, etc. A friend from NB before created an award-winning SQ setup using class A/B amps (Genesis) for his seps and used a class D mono amp (Alpine PDX) for his sub.

    cheapest 5ch i know is yung JBL GTO series 5355 55Wx4 + 225x1

What should I expect in replacing stock speakers on a car?

Sira na yung isa, will need to replace the front pair with the most basic ones I can find.

    a) How much should I prepare?
    b) Will stock wiring handle this?
    c) Any splicing involved, or are there plug and play sockets?

These are the options i can afford (if available)

    Sound Magus H500 12,500.00
    JBL GT0 Series- 5355 /5Ch.Amplifier 12,185.00
    Lightning Audio LA-51000 13,400.00
    Phoenix Gold SD-Series Amplifier SD800.5 16,500.00
Precision Power Sedona Class Amplifier S580.5 11,900.00

i would really love to get the all class D channels, as i want effeciency more than anything else.
they say class d is on the harsh side; but ive listened to class d amps in home theater setup, sounds fine for me.

eto kaya good deal na ba for 5.5k?

siguro dahil mas poise lang class A/B pagdating sa distortion, and mas evident naman sa class D?
i dont think magkaroon ng noise yung amp kung OK naman ang speaker/amp matching tapos di i-overdrive like what Egan101 said.
iirc i met with jonz already bro, marikina eb; nahihiya lang ako magtanong din dun kasi hi-end mga setup nila

Keep the subwoofer and forget about the rear speakers. You can attain a decent sounding audio setup with a good set of seps and a subwoofer.

But what if I want to attain good SQ all around the cabin? I'm also overhauling my CRV's sound system and will replace the head unit first. Although currently at the front its ok, the back is a bit terrible. If changing the HU will not improve this, I will change all 4 speakers, if budget allows me. If not, probably the rear speakers because it is really crap.

Do I really need subwoofers or can't i just upgrade the speakers at the back with a bit more ooomph? Thanks.

First advise sq gurus give is not to upgrade the rear speakers, and nost would even disconnect it. The principle is that when listening you normally like the sound stage to be up front and center. Normally you would like rear sounds only for movies...

The subs would be able to produce lower frequency sounds that your rear speakers either wont play or would play poorly. Downside with subs is that they eat up space. Suggest you consider this. For me I opted to use a customized fiberglass enclosure created by Jonz of simplesounds. More expensive than the regular mdf box, but it allowed me to have trunk space. Di halata ni mrs na may subs kaya happy wife, happy life.. He he

    +1

In car audio, there is more emphasis on sound coming from the front. In tuning, most would have their car audio system front-biased. The rear speakers will not help in such a case. If using more capable head units with time alignment, you can tune it better to your preference.

Using only a good set of separates and subwoofer, you can filter the high, mid, and low frequencies to be played by the tweeters, midbass, and subwoofer. They would be enough to have that decent listening experience inside your car.

Mga masters, I'm new to the car audio stuff. Nagpunta ako sa isang audio shop dito sa Abu Dhabi at mga pinoy naman ang tao dun. Sabi ko gusto ko lang mag upgrade ng sound system from stock Honda CRV 2015. Eto ang inilagay nila:

DD C5D amp > Gladen RS 165 fronts + Gladen 165 RS rears
    DD m.80 amp > DD 512c D2 sub
Still using stock Head Unit ( 2din touch screen) from Honda CRV 2015. Planning to upgrade to Pioneer AVH-X2850BT in the next 2months
added sound deadening (roadkill stinger) also on all five doors.
