Any chance you could bring it back to the car audio shop where you had it installed and let them adjust it for you? Wala kaseng one setting fits all po.

Anyway, you mentioned phase settings. Dalawa lang naman ang setting niyan, either 0(zero) or 180degrees. I suggest you play around with it. The correct setting will be the one that gives you the impression that the bass is coming out from the front dashboard. If you can not tell the difference or if the subs is installed at the front seat or front passenger seat then there's no need to adjust the phase since the subs is already located at the front.

Your active type subs already comes with a low pass filter. Meaning no need to set the active low pass filter on your HU (provided your HU has this feature).

With regards to the cut off frequency. I suggest you start with 200hz then slowly turn the knob down (to a lower frequency) until you hear that the subs together with the other speakers blends together nicely. Meaning neither the subs or other speakers stands out. There is a good chance that you will need to adjust the gain settings of your amplifier as well when you do this.

If you feel that it's quit complicated then I suggest bringing it the nearest car audio installer and have them adjust it for you.

Nothing "ignoramus" on your queries bro, IMHO you are asking the right questions. Better to learn to maximize the full potential of your current gears first before adding or changing them. Marami kase dito gastos lang nang gastos when it comes to car audio but fail to learn the basics and end up loosing interest or not contented in the end. I have to admit though that I was one of these persons in the past, hehe!

Anyway, habang hindi ka pa nakaka punta sa installer mo. Just play around with those settings you mentioned and trust your ears. The correct settings will be the one that works for you. Don't worry as long as you are just controlling the knobs on your HU, walang masisira diyan. Best of luck!

Ma consider mo bang upgrade if i change my amps to kicker coming from gladem m line and audio system m line?

Current system is
80prs + focal 165as + jbl sub. + m line 100.2 + m line 75.4.
Simplesound is my installer.

I assume its an upgrade for amp power wise.... Ex amps pala i papalit ko incase.

Why upgrade? Hmm parang listening volume ko kasi with the 80prs is 32-36.
Wav files. Gusto ko naman ang pero parang medyo kulang. :-| . kulang sa kalansing yung mga instrumento. (panay maroon 5, franco at incubus pinapakinggan ko)

I'm only using Pioneer X275BT HU. No amp, no sub. Listening volume ko is 8-10 lang. Already loud and clear.

Nope! Your problem or concern is definitely not amplifier power related. Your current amplifier is more than enough with the speakers you are using. It's more of a tuning issue. I have no idea with the music material Jonz of simple sound used to tune your system but if I where you I would bring it back and ask him to tune your system using your own music source/material.

Bnew ba yun speakers when you got them installed? Na address na ba nang installer mo yun concern mo in the past? More often that not, some installers would deliberately set the gain structure of your amplifier/s slightly lower to allow your brand new speakers to break in properly. Usually they would ask you to go back after a month or two to have your system re-tuned. This is also the time when your installer will properly level matched the gains on the amplifier. I don't know kase kung nagawa na ito in the past. Just talk to Jonz first re. your concern. I am more than sure he will have the solution. Good luck!

you can always bring back your system sa installer for re-tuning depende sa listening style na gusto mo. halos pareho lang tayo ng gears sa kotse ko 80prs, focal v30, polk sub, 5ch amp more than enough na kalansing para sa akin. btw, si jonz din installer ko

minimal na lang gastos niyan sir kung adjustment lang sa tuning. kung konting tweak lang baka free pa yan hehehe. if he recommended an upgrade sa sub then it must be the weak link sa system mo. you can sell your old sub then pagawa ka bago kay jonz. kaka-install din niya ng be-fit sa montero ko last month bago pasko. stock hu, no amp and sub pero ok na sa akin ang lows at ang volume more than enough na sa listening style namin ng wife at kids ko. i'm going back to him soon para naman sa grandia namin...

ok na rin yung sub mo bro, but if you want straight focal ok din naman. if after re-tuning at nakukulangan ka pa why not instead upgrade your seps to a higher focal model, say to 165 FX o kaya yung K2P. ok na yung power mo naka 6ch ka na saka full active. yun nga lang burn mode ulit yan pero kung satisfied ka naman sa outcome. regards kay jonz kapag nakapasyal ka sa kanya...

I would like to transfer my old Directed Xtreme 12" sub to my other vehicle, as it would be the most bang for the buck sound upgrade at the moment.

I want to get another amp for it as the old Taiwan "V12" amp seems to be underpowered, it shared duties powering my Targa separates,

30hz-1.5khz
Sealed box

What would be my options for the amplifier? Mono would be okay since I like to keep the speakers stock for now. Budget meal lang sana... If meron rin kayo ma-recommend na shop around Pasay or Makati, include nyo na rin. Last option ko na sa Banawe. Thanks
