There will be a lot of imperfections to expect so I'm thinking of getting a DA polisher, but I have a few questions.

The backing plate (velcro) is 7", should the pads be 7" as well or 8"? Microtex only has 3, 6, and 8 inch pads.

What's the benefit of having a waffle pad?
Based on the AIO that I'll be using, should I use a cutting/polishing pad or just a finishing pad?

    Thanks.

I'm heading to youtube after this.
For me 5 to 6 inch pads lang.. mas madali ma control yung polisher..

As of now ung 845 lang gamit ko. nilalagay ko lang cya after carwashes
    Thank you

both are good and very durable stand alone LSP's. no need to combo them

5in diam backing plate ang ideal on most pads. malaki na masyado mga 7".

waffle pads yata ay hindi madaling uminit. i have not use them, flat pads lang gamit ko.

kapag aio, use a medium polishing pad. pads are color coded depende sa brand. check out autogeek.net for the different brands of pads. i used lake country and meguiar pads.

Planning to get locally available pads lang, like Microtex.

Baka kasi di ko rin magamit in the long run kaya I don't want to invest heavily. Hehe.

I'll try looking for an adaptor for the 5" backing plate with 6" pads.

    Thanks.

    ah okay po.
so okay na ung collinite nalang gamitin ko?

    wash > dry > collinite 845

either of the two pwede mo gamitin, very durable sila pareho as last step product o LSP. to make a comparison, you can apply 845 sa side at rear panels then TW SnS naman sa hood at roof. check every wash alin ang tumatagal ang protection

i don't about the others, but for me, i like the applicator for polish to be a little damp.. that way its much easier to prime the applicator

Finally, I'm back to work after having my "vacation" since April. For those who are not using their cars, please be aware of the possibility of "discovering a new creature", aside from your regular spider.

I just wiped it with a damp microfiber. I don't know how it ended up there. I just used a car cover and left it inside the garage.

I am somehow worried that it might occur again. I'll be leaving the car for at least two months. Any recommendations for a spray or something?
