    2-3 hours, 2 bucket method.

That includes drying/wiping ng door jambs, trunk and hood. Pati punas and pagpag ng interior.

Pinakamatagal ako sa washing/drying ng mags. Gotta clean them spokes!

Since i was free yesterday, i decided to clean my car & prepare it for the rainy days ahead.

It took me about 4 hours to vacuum the interior, bathe and dry it, & finally to wax the thing. In between syempre may meryenda at konting chat on the side [emoji16]

do what you gotta do so you can do what you wanna do

I guess its really 2 hours standard for 2 bucket/shampoo/dry/pressure wash.

    Here's my routine:

    1) Pressure wash first to wet the car
    2) Foaming (lance), wait for 5 mins for it to work on the dirt and grime
    3) Pressure wash to rinse
    4) 1 bucket with car shampoo. I use 5 wash mitts. 1 mitt per area of the car.
    5) Pressure wash to rinse
    6) Pat dry the whole car with a large MF towel
    7) Leaf blower for every nook and cranny
    8) Ultimate Quik Detailer

Done in 2 1/2 hours. Was 3 hours before when I used the 2 bucket method with grit guard.

Looking to reduce the time. Maybe, I could skip 2 and 3 and go straight to 4 if the car is not that dirty. I could also use another large MF towel for drying.

Let see if I could get this under 2hrs.

You could try the flooding method to dry the car. Pressure wash rinsing leaves a lot of droplets on the horizontal surfaces. Might save a bit of time in the drying phase.

For pre-wash soaking, I just go straight to foam, then rinse with pressure washer. That would eliminate 1 more step from your process.

But really, the best time-saver for me is rinseless washing (if the car isn't too dirty).

    Same experience, hehe.

I'm using the JR for a Civic.

Try to wet it first before drying, mas magiging absorbent siya.

I prefer using the waffle weave for dark colored vehicle. I noticed that it absorbs better when its wet na.

I get annoyed by the swirl marks and had it wash 2 twice weekly. The car I used to wax weekly is an 18yr old green CRV which I tried to use daily last year.

col 915 lasts 2-3 washes to me. i'd rather continue applying wax then use quick detailer in between...

seems you washed your car too often so you get more swirls in the process.

for a pick up truck, the rear carrier maybe a beat-up daily driver. however, a glossy smooth, slick looking hood and clean windows exudes an elegant front appearance.

Wala ata connection if coated or not.

Try mo din buhusan ng tubig imbis spray/hose before drying it up. Para less yung big water pools.

Open mo din hood/trunk/doors para tumulo kahit papano.

It will still leave water streaks, pero ako hinahayaan ko na lang. Nag eevaporate naman din hehe.

Balak ko naman every year pa detail, so I'm just trying to do my best to minimize swirls and fine scratches.

At the end of day, we're just delaying the inevitable hehe.
