I've done backreading but I can't get a definitive answer. TIA again.
ok lang naman yan patong-patong but for me its redundant na, dagdag gastos at pagod lang. the 915 is more than enough na as LSP, kahit patungan mo yun na rin yun durability niya. imo, tayong mga pinoy mahilig sa kasi sa pasobra

quick detailer ba ang nanosliq? if yes then you can apply it in between washes until mag-wear off yung 915 at mag-reapply ka ulit.

Thank you boss monty_GVT. Next car wash ko na lang i-aapply si nanosliq.

I bought two grit guards and 1 set of wash mitts in 5 different colors from aliexpress. I also bought 2 extra wash mitts specifically for my wheels and windows.

But, I no longer needed the grit guards because it's 1 wash mitt per area of my car. There's nothing to rinse and reuse anyway. I'm only using 1 pail for the car shampoo and the other pail to put all my used wash mitts. I used to do the two bucket system with grit guards, but, doing it this way, eliminated the use of the grit guards. I think it's much simpler and faster this way. I no longer worry whenever I rinse the wash mitts whether some loose dirt might still get stuck on it. Grit guards do not totally remove debris.

I guess I just wasted 2 grit guards.

i think not. you can still use those grit guards to keep the debris in the bottom. they will not guarantee total grit free washing but at least the grits are kept at the bottom.

But, there's no debris to wash out because the wash mitts will no longer be rinsed and reused. I just put it in the empty pail when done. I simply use another unused mitt for another panel of the car. Then, dump this one in the pail and use another unused mitt for another panel, so on so forth. As for the shampoo bucket, since new mitts are used every time, there's zero dirt introduced into the pail. There's nothing for the grit guard to trap in the shampoo bucket. So, thus, I concluded, I've just wasted two grit guards.

These are the wash mitts I bought from Aliexpress. It's 5pcs per set at $17.30 free shipping. Delivery within 30 days at your local post office.

Very good quality wash mitts. It's very soft and it's two sided.

I never really thought why I still need the grit guards if you have 5 wash mitts already (plus 2 for my windows and wheels). The main objective is to prevent introducing dirt to your car to prevent scratches and swirls. I think multiple wash mitts can do the job way better than grit guards.

As with grit guards, kasi you still need to dunk the mitt into the rinse bucket to remove dirt which then gets trapped in the grit guard. This is not 100% fool proof. Dirt can still circulate within the bucket and it will be reintroduced to your wash mitt. You need to rinse it as you are only using 1 wash mitt for the whole car. For sure, you're going to pick up dirt that might scratch or swirl your paint overtime. But, grit guards help minimize it. But "minimize" is still not good enough. Why not simply use multiple wash mitts, one wash mitt for each area of you car? This will 100% guarantee your wash mitts are clean every time it touches the paint. Peace of mind, no worries.

    HAHAHAHAHA!

Mas OC pa nga yung two bucket method eh. Although, you use only one mitten, ang hassle! To rinse, you have to scrub the mitten on the grit guard, top and bottom, then squeeze all the water out, then dunk it in the shampoo bucket. You're not even sure if there's dirt still trapped in the mitten eh.

With the multiple mitten method, no grit guards, no need to scrub and squeeze, no need to wait for the rinse bucket to fill up with water. I just dunk the mitten in the shampoo bucket and after using it, I just throw it into the empty pail and I get another new mitten for the next panel. No cross contamination. The only water I'm going to use is on the shampoo bucket. Much simpler and faster, diba? I save water as well.

Besides a lot of suppliers in aliexpress are selling by set. Much cheaper than buying only a single piece.

to each his own lang talaga. if convenient to you then go for it [emoji4]

just be wary that no matter how many mitts you use and try to get rid of the mighty tiny grits, swirls can only be minimize but cannot be avoided. whether during washing, drying and waxing. more so if you have dark colored cars like black. two of my cars (an suv and van) are blacks so i know how difficult to maintain them.

enjoy washing and keeping your cars swirl free as careful as you can[emoji56]

Mahirap kase to remove it immediately, lalo na kunwari ung umulan tapos biglang aaraw while you're in transit. Hindi viable talaga.

I use quick detailer , pag park sa bahay or sa office nag sspray ako agad ng quick detailer, like meguiars xpress wax, at punas sa salamin, kung umulan, mas mahirap kasi kung ambon lang,

The price of 1 grit guard can buy 3 to 4 wash mittens, enough to cover all sections of the car. Just wash all the mittens after the car wash.

You have to remove it immediately. Never let it "cure" on you car.

Yes. It's more economical. After car wash, I just put it in the washing machine.
