Masyado kayo matiyaga at maalaga
In terms of cost-performance, Collinites will beat out Optimum's OCW and Meguiar's UQW.
Wala naman problema sa curing, but 8 hours is more than enough.

Good am. I'm eyeing to buy porter cable DA at AG.. I just need your opinion which pad will i choose? I have the option to choose 5 CCS pad. I'm just a newbie for using a DA and still don't know what will i need in the future. My car is 6 month old and under opticoat program..
Salamat sa tulong nyo.. Sana meron makatulong anong pad ang sulit.
when i bought my PC kit, it comes with yellow/orange/white/gray pads. i never use the yellow, its the orange that i frequently use for polishing. it has enough cut to get rid of swirls and minor scratches. followed by white for finishing polish but mostly i'm ending up with the gray. i bought blue finessing lately for sealants and wax applications. since your car is new and under opticoat program, i believe the paint will only have minor imperfections in the future. i suggest, get more orange color since you will use it often for polishing, a gray for finishing then a blue for m/c application of lsp's.
ok na yang choices mo sir roel. pero I suggest kuha ka rin ng white pad kasi my light cutting siya. gaya ng sabi ng mga detailing gurus, always use the least abrasive pad first. if pag-test mo sa isang small area ay ok na yung white pad with your polish, then no need to use the orange. ayos kung may free ka na red pad, di ko pa nasubukan yan
nagpabili ako sa relative ko sa US sir![]()
I would highly recommend getting more pads. If you're planning on polishing your whole car in one session, I'd suggest getting at least three pads for compounding and polishing - if you can afford it, go for four to five. So I'd suggest five orange pads, five white pads, and two grey/black pads. Also, if possible, try and switch the CCS pads with flat pads - the flat pads will have just a bit more cut, since they have a (slightly) larger polishing surface in contact with the paint.
mahirap mag-recommend sir, iilang polish pa lang nasusubukan koword of caution lang din sir, huwag marami ang bilhin kung di mo pa nasusubukan. ang tendency kasi kapag nahilig ka sa detailing bili ka ng bili out of curiosity at sa mga nababasa na reviews pero in the end di rin lang nagagamit. sayang lang din, pero nasa sayo naman yan if you have the petots to burn
try to check out yung mga best buys o yung mga kits na may mga kasama ng mf towels, pads etc...makakamura ka kesa pira-piraso.
kung sa mga reviews ok talaga ang megs 105 at 205, check mo may kit yan na may kasama ng pads. gusto ko rin magkaroon niyan. you can refer sa posts nina sir umi at sir jhnkvn sa other thread on how to make gray car shiny. check out din menzerna, I've have some of their polishes at ok din naman. wolfgang wala ako idea bro kung ok ba.
M105 has a bit of a learning curve, so it might be worth considering going with something that's easier to use, such as Ultimate Compound (if the car isn't too bad), or M100 (planning on getting a bottle of this). M205 is a good product - this is the product I use most frequently, for one-step polishing of up to medium defects.
