I bought sa na mention na least aggressive - Meguires deep crystal paint cleaner (wala kasi ako makitaan ng KAIO) to remove those watermarks. Di kasi kaya ng wash or even Nanogloss/sliq na alisin yung marks.

Sir, I also have a Meguiar's Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner (step 1) and yes, even after I applied it, there were still stubborn water marks that didn't get removed though I managed to remove some. They said it's better to use with a machine but for me, I applied it manually. I did at test spot first. I put a reasonable amount on the applicator then applied a medium pressure then light pressure. After that I inspected. If there are still marks, I will put cleaner again on the applicator pad then repeat the step. That together with step 2 are the hardest to do on the 3 step process.hehe Truly shoulder killers.hehe

If you have applied Deep Crystal Polish (step 2) and put LSP, better to just wait after 2 months or until the wax that you have applied dies. Just maintain it with a QD or regular shampoo for the time being. So that when you clean your paint again, you can do it totally from the start meaning claying, steps 1-3, etc. Besides, with the erratic weather that we have wherein it will rain then suddenly becomes sunny, in a week for sure your car will have hundreds of water marks again.

was able to buy Nanosil sa ace. Question:

    1. Nanosil is like Step 1 or 2 of Mothers/Megs? PArang cleaner ba sya or sealer/glaze that hides swirls/scratches?
    2. Twing kelan gagamiting ang nanosil? Weekly after every wash ba and then Nanoglos?
    3. So recommended na dapat gamitin nanosil with machine to break the crystals?
    4. As to the application by machine, ok lang ba na mag overlap yung pag apply by machine?
    5. Kasing nipis lang ba dapat ng nanoglos ang pag apply?

    Thanks.

Sir, as far as I know, Nanosil doesn't have a curing time. You can apply Nanoglos right after applying Nanosil. But Nanoglos has a curing time which I believe 6 to 8 hrs. So if you wanna put another layer of Nanoglos, you have to let it cure first. In my practice, I also wait for the curing time to end before I apply the Nanosliq or any other wax.

Yes sir, I apply it by hand only and MF is what I use it applying it.

Sir, I will try to answer your question based on what I know and my experience.

    1) I wouldn't really compare Nanosil to Step 1 of either Mothers or Meguiar's. As I know, step 1 is the cleaning step such as removing any wax that was applied on the paint, minor imperfections and possibly some swirls and scratches. For Nanosil, I would say it's more a filler or sealer that would hide the swirls and scratches. Though it has some cleaning capability, I couldn't really say up to what degree it could clean.

    2) I would say the moment you see those swirls and scratches resurfacing, I believe that's the time I would reapply Nanosil.

    3) That's what the professionals said that to really unleash the full potential of the Nanosil, it's better if it's applied by machine since the pressure is equal throughout unlike if it's done manually. You can also do it by hand but you have to give an elbow grease to break down the crystals.

    4) I can't comment on this since I haven't tried applying it with a machine.

    5) I apply Nanosil as compared to Nanogloss. The way I apply it is put about an inch size on a microfiber towel then wipe on the paint. I just make sure that I put enough to cover the whole panel. Then I will start to just rub it until I don't see the product anymore. Whereas the Nanogloss, I will put a reasonable amount on the applicator pad, apply on the paint, do the finger test then buff.

thank you Sir for your prompt reply. btw, i want to share lang: yesterday i used nanosliq on two cars (both were shampooed and waxed using express spray wax a week ago), after a week's use with light rains. used nanosliq for a waterless car wash. i was happy with the result. sprayed the nanosliq at each panel (starting with the hood, then roof, then trunk and then quarter panels) and let it work for a few minutes before i used the microfiber to remove the dumi on each panel. repeated this on all panels turning the microfiber each panel para malinis lagi on the start). then buff the whole car with another clean microfiber.

actually i think the shine and the dulas are better than just water and car shampoo. the swirl marks were somewhat fileld and hidden a bit. the nanosliq exceeded my expectations. tipid pa ako sa water and shampoo and less than half the time doing the washing, drying and waxing. the cost of the water i will save (mahal na ng singil ng maynilad ngayon ha!) will more than cover the cost of the nanosliq. even the cost of carwash (90-100) a week will cover the nanosliq expenses. one bottle of nanosliq will last up to 2 months of weekly washing.

now i need to find where i can buy nanosliq by the litter or gallon to refill my sprayer. sa mga autoshow lang ata available eto.

Its consistency is like silicone and they said that it could make the rubber brittle that might lead to cracking or possibly explode.

After reading some reviews about it, I got really worried though I read mixed reviews wherein some had good experiences while some had bad. My observation was it could really make your tire really black, sort of shiny black and it lasts longer than Microtex. Downsides, I noticed, just like the reviews that I read, it made the tires brown since it's kinda sticky and dirt sticks on it fast. Plus I noticed some cracking on the tire though I don't know if it caused it. Maybe I just got paranoid since it's even written on the bottle to not apply the product on the tire thread.

With Microtex Tire Black, I love how it leaves a matte black look (I only apply once) and not to shiny just clean look. 2nd is it's not sticky so I suppose it's safer to use and lastly, it is way cheaper than Meguiar's Endurance Tire Gel.
Kahit anong brand pa yan, hindi talaga nilalagyan yung thread hehe!:D

How do you take care of your Chamois? I bought an AutoGuard Chamois (Green - Lint Free) and after just about 2 months of usnig it, I noticed na may part na napupunit na. What is the proper way of cleaning and storing your Chamois? or hindi talaga durable itong AutoGuard Chamois?

Yes, I also have seen the Microtex Chamois but decided to buy the AutoGard. The saleslady recommended me the original Chamois but the cost is quite high almost 3 times the price.

ok naman yung finish glossy talaga, ewan ko lang kung tatagal
The glaze just polished your car's finish. You'll need a protective wax layer to maintain the shine. Try using a carnauba, synthetic or polymer wax.
