gusto mo talaga pagpawisan boss venerzky ok din yang patong patong, ginagawa ko din yan but not with waxes, in my opinion parang overkill. kung gusto ko magkapatong na LSP, i'd rather have sealant first then cure for 4-8 hrs tapos saka ako mag-apply ng wax sa ibabaw. i do that mostly on my 2x a year full detailing regimen bago summer at bago rainy season.

Finally, after 15 months I got the urge to remove the car seat covers to launder them. Removing the back seat was a pain. The car seats were so filthy, accumulating more than a years worth of dust & grime including stain from my daughters vomit a year ago. I vacuumed it & used this upholstery cleaner of microtex. Now, it's good as new!

Now, clean and dry your car.

Then try to run the plastic strip on your car's surface. (As if you were using a blotting paper on skin.)
If you feel nothing -- all smooth -- then you don't need to clay.
If the paint feels "rough" then you need to clay.

*Kimbon, I think he's post is not pertaining to you. Tingin ko yung "Mga detailing afficianado dito, newbie lang dito.." eh he's calling the attention of all "detailing afficianado" para magtanong, and yung "newbie lang dito" is pertaining to himself na need ng help.

IMO if you have the clay on hand na, go ahead and use it before your detailing regimen.

Kaya naka schedule na yung DIY 3-step ko just after PMS.
There was a time na naka dikit pa sa windshield ko, "Please do not wash car."
