Tried Chemical Guys 5050 at The Detail Studio in Ortigas, and am very happy with the results.

Here are some pics of the different stages of the detailing process. Best to zoom in the pics to see the details (lots of dead bugs on my hood!)

I was beginning to think that regular washing is enough to maintain your car, but comparing them side by side (waxed and not waxed) reveals a noticeable improvement.

Just had my car detailed at The Detail Studio in Ortigas, and am very happy with the results. I was curious if the money I'm spending to get my car waxed was worth it, so I took pictures to be able to compare objectively. I subject my car to thousands of kilometers of driving every month under high heat and raging rain, frequently on highways where stones and insects find their way on my hood, so my paint really takes a beating.

I was surprised when I saw the results. My black car just became blacker, with all the minor blemishes erased. I'm very happy with the Meguiar's Paint Reconditioning Cream and Chemical Guys 5050 Wax that they used.

If it's just a wash, no need for an appointment. But if you'll have the car detailed, it's better to set an appointment to be sure. They can only detail 2 cars at a time so going without an appointment is quite a gamble.

I paid 1.2k for the detailing. Usually it's just Collinite 845 and Meg's PRC but they were nice enough to give me a bonus for all the customers I referred to them so I got CG 5050 and Meg's as a free upgrade.

They don't sell, they just offer it to customers. They order from the states and they don't seem to have large quantities on stock.

Mga 2-3 hours kasama yung wash. Baka mas intense na paint correction yung sinasabi nila?

I just availed of the wash and wax (but also comes with claying and paint reconditioning) package.

Nakuha mo na din pala free mo, parang mas gusto ko beading ni collinite? (Not an expert opinion BTW)

Pero sabi ni Jojo mas okay daw yung 5050.

Sabe ni Jojo if wash + top up ng 5050 nasa 1,100 pesos daw compared sa 700 if collinite.

Wala kasi silang pricing nakapost sa wall. Pwede kaya iwan susi sa kanila, safe? Kilala mo may ari boss jut?... Pwede bako sa EB? 6 months naku nde nagwawax.

Mismong sa wall ng shop hehehe. Mahirap lang din maghintay pag tanghali wala waiting area na aircon. May something kaya sila ginagamit sa lower part pag carwash pansin ko pag ako nagcacarwash yung asphalt hindi masyado nawawala pero nung sila, carwash lang anlaki ng ninipis hehehe.
And range rover and subaru sti kasabay ko pacarwash nakaka panliit hahaha

Turf ng poging oto yung area pero mostly subarus yung andun and 86's may tuning shop nearby kasi.

Yup olats lang yung waiting area lalo na kung may pandiinang lakad ka after.

May posted naman sa wall ah? Not all services nga lang.

Basta satisfied ako sa carwash nila, affordable yet quality.
