.. Sealer and Glzae daw, eh di naman sealant, di rin glaze

well.. question is is step 2 safe for new paint?
the glaze seals the paint but allows it to gas out. body shop safe is said to have no wax nor silicones. this could also be effective to top on newly dried wax for people that are into that.

Mother's step 2 is body shop safe. also, request for a few more passes of clearcoat

wash, and just because, kero, wash, clay, prewax, wax -- nano glos + sliq na muna. mostly in the newbie's guide to car appearance maintenance

don't forget the wheel wells and wheels and tires and at least vacuum the car interior. and don't worry, the car will surely make a 180 turn towards shine and cleanliness.

unless you know your stuff under the hood, simple muna sa engine detailing and give the utmost caution. clean and dress always with a cloth. wipe clean with a degreaser, wipe to dry, wipe on your dressing. avoid electrical connectors and sensors. ready a stick for hard to reach areas. no pressure. the result/feedback will reach the rest of your barkada

    good luck!
thanks sa mga reply bossing...her only concern is to make her car clean and remove the minor scratches, see doesn't know about engine bay so hindi nya din maappreciate kung linisin ko ng todo, she told me na just concentrate on the exteriors...can the nano sliq and nano gloss can remove yung mga libag?i'll use elevo water mark remover sa glass,i also have plenty of MF towels

pagkatapos ng claying, pwede ka rin dumiretso sa cleaner wax na final step. I haven't tried turtle wax to remove scratches but they say it can. you may also try scratchx after claying then wax afterwards. research mo yung tipo mong product. if feedback says it has cleaners, then it cuts the clearcoat and may remedy oxidation, swirls or scratches. nanoglos&sliq are not cleaners. if they say it has fillers, then it can hide scratches, maybe to a degree.

best thing is to try your plan of attack on a square foot first. if you're not satisfied and you want to adjust, try on another. that way you can gauge the task/trouble in which you have put yourself

    magtagumpay ka sana. :gouste:

as indiej suggested... magandang approach would be:

    1)wash
    2)clay

tapos kung hindi natanggal ng clay yung mga libag

    3) cleaner wax
-2 kinds: either chemical-based or abrasive. usually clearcoat safe yung chemical based, pero hindi to makakatanggal ng mga scratches.

pwede ka gumamit ng mother's step 1 for your purposes

    happy detailing sir!

ongapala, kung may mga aspalto, sprayan mo ng kerosene... lusaw yon. hehe.

jm, it's safer with M81, no wax.

rico, if they sprayed ample clearcoat, chance to correct after 4-6 months. wala daw protection just gloss, but 3M IHG is a safe way to go. 3m wrote it on the IHG label. you could opt to not put anything.

you could also ask how much to clearcoat the whole car.

Pagkakaalam ko walang Wax yung m80 SpeedGlaze nung bagong repaint yung car ko m80 gamit ko for 2 months.

    http://www.meguiars.com/faq/index.cf...54&section=_54

To maintain your cars fresh paint during the recommended curing time you can safely use any of the below Meguiar's pure polishes, which are not only safe for fresh paint but help to enhance the curing process while making your paint look it's absolute best.

    M-03 Machine Glaze

    M-05 New Car Glaze

    M-07 Show Car Glaze

    A-21 Deep Crystal Polish

Another product you can use to maintain fresh paint throughout the curing process and even afterwards is Meguiar's M-80 Speed Glaze. Speed Glaze is a cleaner/polish that also contains a unique paintable polymer that will extend the durability of the product while offering protection to the finish closer to that of a real wax or paint protectant.

eto kasi ang common sa mga waxes nila
    Isoparaffinic Hydrocarbon 64742-48-9 2-8 None 265-150-3 Xn; R-65

    m80 and prolly a21 or step2 (TS - trade secret) has this. the rest m03, m05, m07, m81 don't

but they say it works which is the same with your experience so that's good to know.

Will prolly stick to step 2 for now... Sayang naman kasi di na nagagamit... What do you mean by "chance to correct"? Meanin no corrections to be made for 4-6 months? So no cleaner waxes, polsihes or anything abrasive?

not at all. with thicker clear coat, you just have more leeway to make corrections. if a product doesn't impede the gassing out during paint curing, generally it's ok. if you correct to perfection now but can't really protect as much, you'll just redo later and reduce more clearcoat (CC).

that isoparaffin hydrocarbon is a synthetic solvent commonly used as a vehicle for insecticides. not a wax at all i guess. the lineup is green lighted by the manufacturer as jmpet proved. some of them have a bit of cleaners for maintenance/correction and shine of new paint, but offer minimal protection.

finally, pics! does it look like murky water against the other detailed panels? hood pa naman-dapat baklas at may oven para flawless.

i'm excited when there's an opportunity to add clearcoat, obviously none of our detailing products do that. 100ml of clear would add about 2 mils on the hood. how much is 100ml of CC compared to our sealants and waxes which aren't nearly as hard as the CC? what's better than 100ml? 200ml. there is a sweet spot as to how much to add on though. then we could be less jumpy than before about our CC and no more questions about depth of shine cos we know it Is deep. major corrections reduce about 0.5 mils at most.

quick question, ano purpose ng terry towel ng microtex? pareho ba sila ng back-side ng plush? yung back-side kasi ng plush gamit ko for qd, mas madaling gamitin.
