Yeah, it can be a pain to buff off. It doesn't have a "curing" period, you can buff it off right after you apply it. Just make sure you apply it thin.Originally Posted by bankai

yun nga po e, some part medyo madami nalagay ko kaya dun talaga ako nahirapan, hinahabol ko pa kase yung oras kase walang shade yung workplace ko, e malapit na tumirik araw kaya paspas talaga ako, dun lang ako natagalan sa mejo madami, di pa nga ubos yung IHG ko for the whole car(sachet), i think may 45%-50% pa natira
afaik, wax on-wax off lang dapat. no curing time. para hindi sumakit muscle mo kakapunas.
From experience, 3M products are a pain to buff off, even more if you apply it too thick.
* bankai,
i do use 3M car wax for sometime now and it is best to buff it off using the polisher. Na experience ko na yan na makapal ang pagkakalagay ko, matrabaho tanggalin pag manual.
from experience, if the car is well-maintened through detailing, the IHG sachet can go up to 2-3 sedans. and yes, dapat talaga manipis yung application otherwise you'll be faced with that problem during product removal.![]()
tnx for the input guys
kanina tinititigan ko tsikot ko, ang ganda talaga ng black, ang kintab, parang kinakain ako ng pagkaitim nya, lalo na after using CCD, ang ganda . . . .
eto po yung scratch, judge it na lang po, it looks deep pero hindi sya deep

Ouchhhh!!!!
That hurts! 2 panels pa man din!
Sarap balutin yung bicycle sa liig nung nakabunggo sa yo. Grrr.
Anyway, since you've mentioned that you can feel the scratch with your fingernails, then it means that it's already too deep.
You may want to try polishing the area with a good scratch remover (mom's or meguiars). That ought to clean it up enough to be less noticeable. (Unfortunately...no matter how you make it invisible to others, it will still be very visible to you...)
If you feel up to the task, you may also want to try some DIY repairs. Check out the guide on how to do DIY touchups at: www.bettercarcare.com. There's an article there on how to repair paint damage, including deep scratches via DIY touchups. It's quite laborious...
baka you guys want to try formula113 products its diy friendly..easy on easy off and it gives a deep shine...its the easiest to use and it stays the longest:P
visit www.waxdaddy.ph for more info or you can visit www.formula113.com for product info.
I went to a free detailing class from Meguiar's (their HQ is in Irvine, 15 minutes away from home) and they said to let the wax cure/dry for ~10-15 minutes. Mike Philips was the guy in charge of the class, and even gave us a demo on one of the members' newly painted cars.
First, wash the car.
Then use a good scratch remover.
Then clean the paint, if possible clay it too.
I would recommend Scratch X since I use Meguiar's often. Rub it in perpendicular to the scratch so the rough edge will soften up. Put some pressure on it too, hindi yan baby lotion even if it smells like one.
If that doesn't work, a mild rubbing compound should work. Be gentle with this one naman.
bankai: looks like a hairline scratch, you can use a scratch remover to smoothen out the edges, but the scratch won't disappear, you'll just "hide" it a bit more.
You can try wetsanding it but this method is for pros and will thin out your paint in a hurry so i don't recommend this.
tnx po sa mga reply, meron ako dito mothers scratch remover, na hide nga yung scratch ng konti, pero baka pa detail ko na lang para mas ok at mas maitago
