Great shine BTW! Great job there! great reflectiveness and the trunk looks really really wet. I noticed the first shots are a bit grainy but i think its because of the camera? Did you use the 3m line or the Moms line to get that result? Im guessing moms? I really love red wet looking paint it just stands out a lot. Thanks for posting!
Yes, it should be Para Ordnance instead of my name, but I added an "e" way back during my highschool days because I can't use the name in some gaming forum. So it became Ordenance with an E , up until now

I love the wet look too, my father loves it too and asks what have I been doing to the car lately. Kung dinala ko daw ba sa detailer. I answered, "no dad, its DIY!" And i showed him my mfs, waxes, and the clay.

Yeah, the grainy picture is due to the light blocked by the windshield causing the camera to compensate for the light lost.

    I used both:
    1. Wash (microtex)
    2. Clay (Mother's Clay)
    3. 3m IGH
    4. 3m SCLW
    5. Mother's showtime (Every week)

Thanks for the complement and for the suggestions you replied which is in the last page.

Nice procedure step in waxing your car . How long it takes to wax if you use your car in rainy days.

would give you better results, if you made a pass with wax on a dirty surface, clay could still remove those particles embedded. And this procedure is better since Step 1 is designed to prep paint to accept a sealant or glaze. If you use Step 1 and then clay after, claying might actually dull the gloss and finish Step 1 provides, so stick to the first pattern, it would give you a better and glossier shine.
Thanks again.. You know a lot about detailing, pang professional

If its light blue try, FX Synwax from Mothers for reflectivity and mirror like finish. You could also try Collinite Liquid Saphire wax as well as EO Nano wax and Dupont Carnauba for light colors. If its on a dark blue car, try Collinite 915, TW platinum paste, Megs NXT, and Mothers Reflections advance wax. I guess it all boils down to what you prefer more, reflectivity and mirror crisp shine or deep wet look. Your detailing regimen is already impressive considering you have one of my favorite combo, step 3 then Topcoat. Maybe adding Step 1 would help a lot since Step 1 brings out the color of the paint much much more and Step 1 also gives that deep wet look.

    Hope this helps

Cerulean Blue po na jazz... Step 1 na pre wax cleaner po ba? Yung Synwax po ba may cleaners? Gusto ko sana try yung collonite Super DoubleCoat Auto Wax #476

*Para: thats nice! at least your father appreciates it, my dad just think its me being "OC" and being too specific with details, heck! i mean isn't that what detailing is for? O yeah if you used 3m on your car and achieved that shine and wet look im very impressed! i was betting on mothers but im surprised its 3m! Keep up the good job! Who knows your dad might actually help fund you with buying detailing materials!

*Parekoy & James: its not that hard to learn actually, you just have to read a lot from other forums and get the general idea, Autogeek has how to steps in their site that helps a lot, and when it comes to products reviews i base my reviews on autopia, just hang in here a few more months and soon enough you probably know more stuffs than i do. im kind of a bit OC about things so its actually in my nature to be particular with details, for me the only hard part in learning about detailing would be having the budget to try out new things with beat up old cars especially if you can drastically improve a neglected friends car, its like my release, in my case its been an addiction and a new hobby, too bad though that now i find my self a compulsive buyer buying what ever products i still don't have taking a huge bite off my budget.

here's a picture of my first box, i filled up that box about only 6 months ago

    http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/8952/img5158sk.jpg

that shot was actually taken by my BF playfully and sarcastically scolding me for spending too much on detailing

Now im on my 3rd box already! and totalling my expenses, it would already amount to 60k without counting the items i ordered from autogeek, haha i should really stop buying stuffs and save up for christmas. So yeah i've been addicted to detailing and just a warning guys, it sure can be addicting and a very expensive hobby hahaha

At first when i got my 2nd car it was in pristine condition, then i had it waxed at shell and noticed there were lots of swirls, since then i researched and had my BF teach me how to detail, i just read everything here and from different forums and try their techniques and suggestions and see what works for me, until now im actually still asking theveed about certain things im not sure of and also jonjonu, they're both nice guys that helped me a lot, they know more than i do

*jmpet626: yup i was referring to step 1 pre-wax cleaner as Step 1, As for FX Synwax, it does have mild cleaners, its cleaners are enough to bring out the paint color a little more but not enough to remove stains and oxidations. Actually Collinite 476 is a really really good wax, it will really last you AT LEAST 2 months in Philippine weather per application and 2x coating will definitely last even longer, as for the price i think its also worth it since it can outperform paste waxes with the same price. If you are interested in finding one let me know, i know someone that sells it for 1.4k he said he could lower the price if its more than 1, but if you know someone that sells it cheaper also let me know im very interested in buying a can, my collinite 915 just started to be shipped so thats about 6 weeks away and im itching to apply a nice water beading wax over my car since its starting to rain more frequently recently.

Yeah, I'm glad that my father liked it. Though I did not show him the price of the clay bar (1.3k!). I don't know what will his reaction is if he knew that a clay costs that much.

You sure has a lot of detailing stuffs out there. I was thinking of a small box not until i saw the picture. Not to mention you got 3 boxes!

Detailing is really addicting. I also want to detail my mother and father's car, but the car is always out. I only got the chance to wash them and just use a quick detailer and then the car will be used again.

*Para: if you're more specific on the Mothers brand, Try the Reflection or FX Spray wax, i think they cost around 450 bucks only, and one bottle goes a long way, just mist some on after you wash and buff it dry and you're done, you get a shorter protection compared to real waxes but its also better than Quick Detailer, also the feel and the shine is also better its much wetter looking and it won't take 5 minutes to finish the car hehe, thats what i do when im lazy. Megs Ultimate Quick Detailer and Ultimate Quick Wax are also good btw, its not as wet looking as compared to mothers but the hydrophobic technology they use there really does last. so you end up with less water on your paint resulting to less damage. just a suggestion, this is usually both companies solution for people who are pressed for time hehe
