Just want to share... its sad though...
I came to Canyon Woods all prepared with my mini detailing kit for these instances, it has mini spray bottles of glass cleaners, QD's, Protectant, Optimum No-rinse and APC, but i got a fever so i was too sick to remove these as soon as i saw them, i was so desperate to go back home and rest since my whole body was already trembling and i still had to drive all the way back to manila.
Pictures of my car with tree saps all over it:
Roof Shot
Hood Shot
After my fever got a little lower about 2 days after, i immediately went to BB to have my car washed, and these are close up pictures of the damages the tree sap has done
They're everywhere on my car and now im really depressed, even after 2 coats of KSG and 2 coats of 476 it still ate through, i asked BB, Moms and Megs and they all said that things would have gotten worse if i hadn't put on anything and that my car needs a 3 step already, and that even a 3 step might not be able to remove all of the stains since its black and its really gonna show.
Anyone knows a solution for this problem? I personnally know how to do a 3 step but im scared of removing a lot of clear coat since my car is less than 2 years old add to the fact that Innova's have a very thin layer of paint. Does anyone know a less invasive way of treating this problem other than a 3 step that includes compounding? I've never really dealt with this problem in all my detailing experiences so i don't know how far i have to go, and i would want to start correcting the paint without having a proper solution and knowledge of dealing with the problem.
