Yes, kelangan ng flushing nyan and maybe you need to use 2 cans instead of just 1 dyan sa engine mo.
ok yung "Top 1" brand na engine oil, meron silang regular at may fully synthetic.
Then take it from here, make sure you do regular check-up ng ride mo, most especially nga yang engine oil.

June 29th, 2007 09:13 AM #1322K Km wow! Thats really abusing the engine.
For mineral oils normal recommendation is 5k or 3 months whichever comes 1st. If you want to push it, 5K or 6 months is the max I will do. Same for semi-synthetic oils.
For full synthetic oils, it usually 10k or max of 1 year. Some top end full synthetic oils like Amsoil, Royal Purple and some variants of Mobil 1 claim that they can go longer than 10K. Check the bottle or manufacturers website for details.
Good oil brands are: the ones mentioned above, Motul, Caltex Havoline, Shell Helix, etc.. Just buy oil that you are familiar with or of a well known brand or manufacturer and look for the API seal of approval. Also buy API SL or SM rated oil (that is if you have a gas engine). AFAIK, (I may be wrong) Petrons oils do not have the API seal of approval, though they claim to be API rated.
Motul engine clean is supposed to be very good.

kung mag pa flush ka, use flushing oil. its free from kerosene that can do more harm than good to your engine. alam ko meron sa handyman, caltex i think have their own brand also.
OR you can simply drain the oil, replace the oil filter and put some cheap oils like ultron extra by petron or toyota motor oil. i think they cost no more than P120/lit. oils have cleaning properties as well.
then run it for a week or so, then drain again. then put in the oil of your choice, replace filter also, lilinis yan. mas matipid and you get the same result with no kerosene in your engine.Last edited by Asus700; June 29th, 2007 at 09:29 AM.

Just stay away from whiz, used it once umusok fx ko badtrip.

maki hitch nalang dito. is it true as claimed that using metal/engine treatment oil, you can have oil change interval at 10k even if you are using mineral oil? gamit ko po yong per'tua engine oil treatment. mnsan yong superior engine treatment oil.

the generic answer for all cars is, "yes but", i am wary of the increased glare that can blind...
