ppwede din sir... hindi properly insulated yung evaporator housing... imbes na sa cooling coils dumadaan yung air... sa gilid gilid ng evaporator coil lang dumadaan yung hangin....

sir paano po yung adjustment sa expansion valve? baka nga po may bara.

sir.. hindi ko po alam... pero nakikita ko yung gumagawa sakin.. may no. ata sya tinitingnan sa exp. valve then may computation pa sya... tapos may bilang yung pag pihit nya sa loob... not sure.. po ha..

Try nyo Sir pagawa sa eds car aircon.... Sigurado ako good as new ulit ang lamig ng auto nyo... Afaik Money back guarantee naman sila...

Sir sa gabi naman panay ang automatic nya kahit naka idle kasi nga mababa ba setting ng thermostat ko kaya panay automatic, pero pag tirik araw at naka stop ayaw na mag automatic, pinapatay ko na nga lang ng ilang secs para lang wag mag high pressure

Is it really that HOT lately? Bagong linis aircon ng Advie ko (two weeks). Expansion valve and dryer, last year pinalitan. No leaks. Pero nung ginamit ko kaninang tanghaling tapat and medyo matraffic, hindi ako kuntento sa lamig.

greenhouse effect nga lang siguro chief. yung sakin malamig naman yung buga kahit traffic pa pero halos di kaya palamigin pag tirik araw.

yung mga nasasakyan kong taxi na mga Vios 2nd gen eh hindi rin kaya (or nasaktuhan ko lang a few of them sira aircon). baka sa panahon lang talaga :sun:

^Yan din problem ng AC ko before. After cleaning, ganun pa din. My mechanic found the problem. Its the AC pressure switch. When pressure goes above normal, i.e., mataas ang ambient temp, it sends a signal to the aux fan to go into high speed. Pag sira ito, normal speed lang ang aux fan kaya di lumalamig and naka high pressure.

In your case sir, I suggest you check what triggers your the speed of your aux fan. Pwede din kasi sa temp sending unit, or mahina na ang fan.

Baka mahina na din ang rad fan nyo sir or pwede din na madumi ang condenser. Pabugahan nyo ng pressure washer or kahit hose habang naka hi pressure sya. pag lumamig, either madumi sya or mahina ang fan.

Since adventure yan, pa check nyo din yung fan clutch at aux fan.

^Madami factors yan sir. Yung mga unang labas ng toyota uses serpentine type na cooling coil. Which has limited rows compared to the laminated coils with several rows. 2nd is your compressor. If your van came with a since AC, then nilagyan ng dual AC without upgrading the compressor, di rin kakayanin. I also doubt those locally manufactured/fabricated equipment's build quality. Pwede din kasi na design fault ng manufacturer. Kaya usually in later models ng toyota, made for tropical weather na talaga yung AC.

Going back, yung pagbuga ng tubig sa condenser will temporarily solve the high pressure situation since it will help the aux fan in converting gas to liquid. this process is interrupted by a weak aux fan or clogged condenser fins.

Pwede din ibalik... Pero dapat malinis yung tangke na paglalagyan ng freon mo..

Depende sa shop sir if equipped ng refrigerant recovery machine. Ideally palitan nyo na lang freon ng Eufron para sure na malamig.

OT:
My Cefiro has sprung a leak somewhere. Hindi mahanap sa mga lines sa engine bay. Hassle kasi just had it cleaned last June. Sayang din kasi it can go as low a 3 degrees sa vents. Gastos na naman.
