ppwede din sir... hindi properly insulated yung evaporator housing... imbes na sa cooling coils dumadaan yung air... sa gilid gilid ng evaporator coil lang dumadaan yung hangin....

Mga sir share ko na rin aircon problem ng fieldmaster ko, brand new compressor, brand new 2 condenser, palit 2 valve and drier....ok ang lamig nya, the problem is ayaw mag automatic pag naka idle... Which will result to high pressure of comp pag matagal ako naka stop. Manual na lang yung thermostat ko, naka set na sya sa 1/2 na lang. Pag umaandar naman ok naman ang automatic nya. Malakas parin ang 2 aux fan ng 2 condenser.

sir ibig sabihin pag nakahinto or idle di niya na rereach yung cut off temperature ng thermostat mo. subukan mo babaan pa ng konti yung settings the thermostat.

ganyan nangyayari sakin pag idle di na mag automatic kasi humihina na yung aircon. ang cut off sakin naka set sa 7 degrees e ang kaya niya lang na lamig pag idle mga 10 degrees lang.

Try nyo Sir pagawa sa eds car aircon.... Sigurado ako good as new ulit ang lamig ng auto nyo... Afaik Money back guarantee naman sila...

as requested sa kabilang thread, ill post here regarding my aircon experience. same problem which only got worse. una di rin malamig sa tanghali (which is expected sa toyota fx). pero main reason for repair is the compressor.

first time ko magpagawa ng aircon system overhaul. di ko alam kung normal ba yung naranasan ko o ewan.

9:00 am ako dumating, every worker is busy. full house, may dalawa pang ongoing sa kalsada. naumpisahan yung akin 10am. the tech assigned was sooooo slow. 5pm na di pa fully installed lahat ng parts. ang mga ginawa:

- pull down compressor, 2 evaporators, rear blower, condenser
- check compressor, eto badtrip. nabasag yung isang part sa shafting dahil minadali pukpukin. pinagalitan kasi nung may-ari nung tech nang pasimple, narinig ko lang. pero sabi nung son-in-law niya kahit daw ayusin di na rin tatagal so palit compressor talaga.
- the condenser is one dirty boy. 1/2 cup of black dust/powder/sand yung naextract nung binomba. di pa ata nakaligo in 18 years hehe.
- hinang sa condenser. nagkaroon ng malaking leak, which was never there before it was cleaned. high pressure ang problema. how and when it got a hole i dont know. siguro nasobrahan sa linis.

lagi ako nakadikit sa technician, more because of my curiosity rather than lack of trust. the paranoid in me tells me sinadya nung tech butasin yung condenser ko dahil nainis siya kanonood ko. hehehe

anyway, 5pm na di pa napapaandar yung system. tinulungan na ng son-in-law yung tech para matapos. ayun 7pm all done. a/c is super cold, nag moisture na yung windshield. but the real test will be tomorrow, hopefully tirik ang araw.

3 months warranty on all parts except the condenser kung magleak uli.

gastos? P9500 for pull-down, cleaning, freon, drier, hinang sa condenser, surplus denso compressor, labor. additional P650 for the high pressure switch. i asked for a brandnew compressor, its a whopping 14,000!!

^Madaming fake ngayon sir. Yung mga ganyang price, reconditioned compressor. Bought one before, may 6months warranty. On the 7th month, bumigay na. Kaya if no budget, I'd rather get a fresh surplus. At least OEM.

the day after the repair ginamit ko na agad yung sasakyan to test the a/c. may squeeking noise yung compressor pag off, either belt or bearing. super lamig ng aircon nya kahit tirik ang araw at traffic. its so cold yung tao sa middle row di na niya tinapat yung vents dahil sa lamig. kaso tatlo lang sakay that time. this weekend ill try punuin ang sasakyan.

Sir sa gabi naman panay ang automatic nya kahit naka idle kasi nga mababa ba setting ng thermostat ko kaya panay automatic, pero pag tirik araw at naka stop ayaw na mag automatic, pinapatay ko na nga lang ng ilang secs para lang wag mag high pressure

Is it really that HOT lately? Bagong linis aircon ng Advie ko (two weeks). Expansion valve and dryer, last year pinalitan. No leaks. Pero nung ginamit ko kaninang tanghaling tapat and medyo matraffic, hindi ako kuntento sa lamig.

hindi malamig pag mainit.. tapos kelangan naka todo yung thermostat kasi pag inukot ko lang kahit onti ng hindi
naka todo hindi na ganun kalamig yung buga.. minsan iinit pa.

tapos yung tubo ng high pressure mula compressor mainit minsan.

sa umaga lang malamig at sa gabi.. ano kaya sira?

greenhouse effect nga lang siguro chief. yung sakin malamig naman yung buga kahit traffic pa pero halos di kaya palamigin pag tirik araw.

yung mga nasasakyan kong taxi na mga Vios 2nd gen eh hindi rin kaya (or nasaktuhan ko lang a few of them sira aircon). baka sa panahon lang talaga :sun:

Baka mahina na din ang rad fan nyo sir or pwede din na madumi ang condenser. Pabugahan nyo ng pressure washer or kahit hose habang naka hi pressure sya. pag lumamig, either madumi sya or mahina ang fan.

Since adventure yan, pa check nyo din yung fan clutch at aux fan.

Baka mahina na din ang rad fan nyo sir or pwede din na madumi ang condenser. Pabugahan nyo ng pressure washer or kahit hose habang naka hi pressure sya. pag lumamig, either madumi sya or mahina ang fan.

^Madami factors yan sir. Yung mga unang labas ng toyota uses serpentine type na cooling coil. Which has limited rows compared to the laminated coils with several rows. 2nd is your compressor. If your van came with a since AC, then nilagyan ng dual AC without upgrading the compressor, di rin kakayanin. I also doubt those locally manufactured/fabricated equipment's build quality. Pwede din kasi na design fault ng manufacturer. Kaya usually in later models ng toyota, made for tropical weather na talaga yung AC.

Going back, yung pagbuga ng tubig sa condenser will temporarily solve the high pressure situation since it will help the aux fan in converting gas to liquid. this process is interrupted by a weak aux fan or clogged condenser fins.

hindi siguro nag hi presure ung a/c ko kasi kahit sprayan ko ng tubig yung mga condenser hindi nag babago lamig.. sa filter drier kaya yun sir dipa napapalitan un ung expansion valve lang napalitan din

Yung nangyari skin yan, pinaoverhaul ko compressor. Hirap yung compressor kasi wala na lubricant.

Palit o rings, bearings, etc. Yun, lumamig na kahit summer noon.
