July 15th, 2007 12:00 AM #41wala bng issue kung R12 p rin compressor ko, i mean kung hindi ko ppconvert from R12 to 134A (in terms of lamig and LTO ordinance)?
kung medio mahal mgpconvert i'll go with the repair muna (w/o convertion) basta lumamig ang AC ko. Medio tight din sa budget eh... and nakakadala na rin magpagawa sa mga AC shops dyan sa tabi-tabi..trial and error nga lang ang sistema at nananaga pa...mura sa una kaso since hindi pulido ang gawa ppa-repair ka ulit and in the long run, dami mong gastos at time na nasayang sa pabalik-balik...
about sa compressor mo in converting, punta ka na lang dun sa shop i'm not really sure kasi eh, pa estimate ka ng mga options kung san ka makakatipid. basta sakin ang dami pinalitan nung convertion, drier, expansion valve, compressor and yung mga lines leading back and forth from compressor to drier to cooling coil pero hindi lahat nung lines syempre

July 26th, 2007 11:30 PM #42Good day guys!
Anyway, i went nga pala there last July 14, around 10:45-11am coz sobrang traffic sa may Sucat. Sa may evacom ako dumaan (from bicutan, better living, sucat & then evacom).
After Casimiro, and then Metromall, makikita na agad ang Ceejay's coming from Alabang. You won't miss the big Ceejay's signage.
Pag dating ko, someone checked my AC agad (Mang Dan)...
And yun na, here's the repair done on my AC:
Pulldown Evaporator for cleaning and check leak
Pulldown compressor for check leak
Replace comp. gasket
Hose replacement, welding hu
Vacuum, oil, freon
So far, so good naman! Eto na yung lamig na hinahanap ko, and i think mas lalamig pa kung mapapalitan ng Compressor, Expansion valve and drier...
Under observation pa for 2 weeks...
I'm satisfied with their work and may discount pa! Thanks to Ate Cora nga pala...
Highly recommended!

Pina-check ko ang a/c ng ek ko kanina kasi wala ng lamig. ang diagnosis ng ceejay's may leak na ang A/C pressure switch niya. so ang gagawin replace it plus replace expansion valve (P1800) and drier (P1500) baka cooling coil din pero check pa nila kasi estimate pa lang ginawa ko.
tama po ba iyon? i just want to make sure kasi sumatutal 6k din ang quote sa akin kasama na labor (P450), cleaning, freon eh

October 8th, 2007 08:20 PM #48Double thumbs-up for CEEJAY!!!! I went to their shop yesterday. It was almost 6pm. My car's A/C suddenly went dead. Within two minutes, the technician was able to detect the cause which was the A/C resistor. I was given two options: 1) Buy a new resistor from the casa for approx. P4K, or 2) they will just do a remedy on the existing resistor (i-rerekta na lang). Opted for the 2nd option, and will just get a new part if and when it conks out again.
Very good workmanship, magaling mag-troubleshoot, and very respectful ang mga tao sa CEEJAY!
BTW, I spent only P400 for the repair. Thanks and more power to you Ms. Cora!!!!

I finally was able to bring my Vanette to CeeJay's early Friday morning for the compressor change (and conversion from R12 to R134a).... Wala pa sina Cora dahil nag-jogging so I left the van with them, without any cash deposit. Kahiya nga pero mababait talaga ang mga tao roon at very accomodating dahil nag-text lang ako the night before sa kanila at nag-expect na silang darating ako ng early morning the following day,- kaya walang nasayang na oras.
Anyway, I came back around 4:30PM after just a couple of telephone follow-ups during the day to see how the conversion work is going. I have been using it until tonight at walang problema ang aircon... I will bring it back to them next week, as they have requested just to check kung wala na talagang problema....

When was the last time you changed them? If it's been a while, I suggest following your mechanic's...
