just had my 83 ford econovan AC system checked for leak at ceejay. while other shops have problems determining the cause of leak, at ceejay's, the technician, Jr, was able to locate it very fast indeed.
At the same time I had my 93glxi lancer also checked for loss of refrigerant. Jr already have a hint as to where the leak was. anyway to make sure, he checked everything from the cooling coil down to the compressor and the flexible hoses. the verdict was one of the hoses attached to the compressor.
Well done!!! and thanks to ceejay's.

This shop has been highly recommended among my friends who visited and availed their services already.

Finally had my Vitara brought in to have my aircon checked. My brother who brought it in was given a list of stuff to be replaced and services to be rendered. My brother was guided around by their mechanic on areas that needs attention.

Seeing the list later that day, told him to call back the place to have the necessary parts ready since we'll returning the Vit for repairs. Told my bro to tell the owner that we're tsikot member, as expected she said we'll have another discount for that

Drove the Vit there 11am, and it left the shop 3pm in the afternoon. Noticed significant improvement with the Vit's airconditioning. They replaced all the necessary items with original Denso components. Seems whichever previous owner that might be (the vit was 4th owned), replaced the parts with some substandard and ill-fitting components.

Great Job Ceejay, that was a well spent 14K+ for me. The car still needs to be checked after a week for aircon's performance. Thanks a lot

posted this one sa the "i can hear my compressor turning on/off thread", but i am posting this again here. testi ko na lang sa Ceejay.

while driving home, i noticed na ang lakas sumipa ng compressor ko pag nageengage. dati hindi naman sya ganito. and besides, may naririning akong sumisipol pag umuuhip ang hangin from the vents.

i was on leave yesterday, my original schedule was to go to cruven to have my bushings checked, but from alabang, where i bought muna my wife to work, i noticed na lumalakas yung sipa. affected na din yung idling pag nag-eengage yung compressor.

so dun sa kanto ng southville school, instead of turning right to cruven, i decided to turn left na lang to CEEJAY's.

buti na lang at maaga-aga ako dumating, dahil pagdating ko, around 8 cars came in too. pero they have enough manpower to handle all clients.

chineck nila system. ang culprit? BUSTED AUXILLIARY FAN. based on discussions and explanation of the technicians who were working with my car:

    a) The auxilliary fan cannot help the condenser cool down. the result, it overstrains the compressor, resulting in the exerted effort and the "sipa" sound.

    b) It is also related to the hissing sound i hear, dahil over-pressurized daw ang compressor as a result of item a.

had it fixed, kasama na cleaning. took me around 2.5 hours. the auxilliary fan motor costs 4,500.00 + 1,000.00 cleaning less 500 pesos discount (being a tsikoteer.)

lamig ng AC ko ngayon and bango-bango pa ng lumalabas na hangin.. the technicians also talked to me on the condition of my cooling coil (na pwede na rin daw bumigay because of corrosion and the thermostat), pero hindi nila pinalitan dahil pwede pa naman daw.

what i have also noticed with how Ceejay's works:

    a) They have a file/catalog (parang library card) ng lahat ng mga sasakyan na naging clients nila. So they have that history of what were repaired sa AC. (parang medical history kung baga).
    b) They also text/call clients to remind that their ACs are due for cleaning already.
    c) Free coffee/softdrinks.
    d) 6 months warranty on major parts.
    e) 3 months warranty on minor parts.
    f) Pero they don't warrant parts sa mga ownertype jeeps (bakit kaya?)
    g) They use original or replacement parts. depende sa budget mo.

and it was also nice talking to Cora and Joel and Masi.
nice working also with the two technicians who were very courteous and professional.

meron na rin silang suspension repairs. ang bait din nung tumingin ng suspension ko.

kudos again to you guys. Cora/Joel, i know you are reading this... Print nyo and ilagay nyo dun sa Wall of Fame nyo... hehehehe.

    + 1 ako sa CeeJay's!!!

Pinagawa ko sa kanila ng martes yung ride ko kasi nauubos ang freon. Yun pala may 2 butas na yung front evaporator ko.

I was given the option to replace it with a new one or have it repaired and welded. I opted for the latter. It was Joel (the owner of CeeJay) himself who welded my evaporator and I think it was good. Hope that it will hold for a loooong time. Kudos to Amon & Boyet, the technicians who serviced my aircon.

BTW, had a brief chat with Ms. Cora (the wife of Joel) and she told me that all Tsikot members who have posted about their shop are entitled to free aircon cleaning (freon excluded) as their way of showing their gratitude to Tsikot.Com.
