Help on Aircon repair south side

Hi fellow tsikoteers. I have gone to nearby aircon mechanics nearby. I have changed many parts already, like condenser, cleaning then cleaning , thermostat etc.

Yet after two weeks of aircon, (sira na naman) broken again or no cool air. Every part or repair I changed to a new aircon shop. Looking for a better one. (parang pineperahan lang ako eh)

The last time I visited they told me the compressor was broken and needs to be replaced. Although I admit the compressor is having a weird sound though not sure.

So please help me,

Where could I get a reliable aircon shop near south side (I am in Paranaque)?

and what would be the cost of compressor repair or replacement.

Which one would be better ? (Change compressor - what brand and how much?)

Repair (possible pa ba ito)


My cousin told me to try the shops in pasay and a compressor 2nd hand might be around two thou? *(Ok ba to?)

Bro., since you're from Paranaque, I would recommend that you go to CeeJay's Aircon Shop in Las Pinas. Their place is along Zapote-Alabang Road.

If you're coming from Zapote it will be right after Perpertual Help Hospital and Shell Gas Station and will be to your right in about 100meters.

Magagaling, mababait at honest ang mga tao roon. Look for Cora and tell her that you're a Tsikoteer and they will give you preferential treatment and special discount....

You can't go wrong with them.... Their number is 09175251788.

+1 here. pinalitan yung evaporator ko. 6500 lahat lahat, including labor and replacement na evaporator. after 1 week pinabalik ako to check yung gawa. oks naman. although medyo napataas ng konti sa usual na setting ko ng thermostat (inavail ko kasi yung local na evaporator, di ko kaya yung orig e). malamig naman sya. kinaganda pa nun, may database daw sila ng mga customers nila and kung due for servicing/cleaning na ng aircon mo, reremind ka nila thru call or text yata. at least may nagtratrack ng maintenance ng a/c mo. nice after sales service.

Does Ceejay's also repair BMW aircons/cooling systems?

Sorry not a happy camper here... Was grossly overcharged for a part change... Yes they do have good service yes. But charging a replacement part worth 2.5k to 7k is so over priced. I suggest get a second opinion before having it fixed by them

Rant is for ceejay's? Didn't you ask for an estimate before allowing work on your car?

We bring our own parts there.

sa mga naka punta na kay ceejay, meron ba sila digital aircon analyzer at digital inspection camera? if wala, sino kaya shop meron?

mag eight years na batman vios ko * 60T KM, at nabawasan na ang lamig niya, visual inspection via digital inspection camera sa evaporator eh malinis naman at hindi barado ng alikabok...



visual inspection sa sight glass eh may bubbles while compressor is ON which means sa service manual eh insufficient refrigerant charge... ambient temp 28c max fan (bago linis blower) and max thermostat results to center vent outlet max 9deg Celsius...

dinala ko kay ceejay, kinabitan ng analog manifold gauge, ok naman daw ang presure reading at ang temp na 9~11 deg c

kaya ask ko kung me digital inspection cam siya kase ayaw ko dalin yong akin kung meron naman sila, baka mawala eh...

tska kung me digital aircon analyzer kase gusto ko pa evacuate yong aircon system at malaman kung ilan ang na alis na refrigerant at oil (alam ko pwede ito mano mano sa pamamagitan ng timbangan pero di mo masusukat yong nahigop niya oil, correct me if i am wrong)

pwede ko naman siguro itawag ito sa kanila at itanong, pero just the same, open to hear actual experiences

1. are we comparing exactly the same item? is it possible, one item is original equipment manufacturer, while the other is replacement part?
2. is it possible, price is already for both labor and parts?
3. before they tear into my car, i always ask, "how much?"

i had experience before.
original evaporator cost 7.5K. "replacement part" was 2.5K.
so of course, i (my man fiday) opted for the cheaper part!
wrong decision! the coldness was "hilaw". i ended up buying the 7.5K evaporator. na-sayang yung 2.5K ko.

done aircon repair at ceejay las pinas, its back now to my expected temp

and to answer my question:

1. yes they do have a recovery, vacuum and refill machine, but its not the one with the digital analysis, but at least they are able to measure the amount that came out and also measure the amount that is to be refilled..

2. unfortunately they don't have the digital inspection camera, good thing i already checked my evaporator
