June 5th, 2008 09:42 PM #84i tried Ceejay's service today to have one of my vehicles air conditioning cleaned to see the feedbacks i've been reading here in forums and here is my review..
Craftsmanship +1 = very nice work, dedicated and detailed to the job being done.. they even replaced some o-rings and foam insulations.. Job finished within 3 hours.
Cleanliness +1 = they are using the proper tools and covers to keep the vehicle clean and avoid dirt inside the vehicle while working. But I noticed the workers do not wash their hands first before working on the vehicle.. my car is white so grease is very visible and during their first inspection my door handles got grease and oil... They cleaned it after the job..
Environment -1 = I found Ceejays shop is NOT "Environment Friendly"... They do not retrieve CFC or HCFC from the units they will be working on.. They just let it out thru the AIR (using water in a small container). They should invest on this one considering they are doing aircon cleaning jobs more than compared to other shops nearby.
Overall, I'm satisfied with the job done with the vehicle... But to be the best shop in the aircon service they should also consider the environmental effects of HCFC and invest on the technology of retrieving and recycling these harmful gasses..
BTW: some shops already have the CFC/HCFC retrieval equipment..

July 15th, 2008 01:00 AM #90had my Isuzu Fuego cleaned last Sunday. Good work done! This is the first shop that didn't try to have anything replaced unnecesarily. Most shops will have you replace your expansion valve and drier even if it is not necessary.
Just had my evaporator cleaned, and my system is as good as new. I have one complain though, the evaporator or its housing was not rinsed enough, my ride smells like laundry detergent until 2 days later. I hope the smell will be gone in a couple of days.
Overall, I'm satisfied with the service, and will go back to them for future repairs.
I would still prefer a hydrogen car
