I called Toyota Philippines and it turns out my email went into the spam folder.

I got a call right away from Toyota Pasig and they are asking me if I could give them a last chance to repair my car. TMPI forwarded my email to them. I wonder why they still want to repair my car

I said I will think about it. Somehow I lost my trust and confidence in Pasig na.

Dalhin mo na lang sa ibang casa mahirap bigyan ng isa pang chance ang alam mo naman na papaasahin ka tapos lolokohin ka lang ulit sa huli. #hugot

Obligation nila especially when TMP pushes buttons...

Toyota Pasig is TMPs biggest branch I believe.

Give them the last chance, kasi you know they'll try to make things right.

Pag dinala mo yan sa ibang casa, start from 0 yan.

Write down a list of things you have checked, and ask them how they intend to fix it / how they fixed it / what they will do differently this time re: your AC issue.

They will want to get a last chance indeed because they probably know that the vehicle can be subject to the Lemon Law as explained by the others. Think about it well before deciding.

Was also quoted a ginormous amount for a new throttle body for a 12 year old Camry. SA told me that the reason is because the part is too old, but it's alright to try to have it cleaned elsewhere pero pag sa kanila, hindi na raw gagalawin. If it is still faulty after cleaning, then new TB na. Sabi is that CASA SOP is just not to touch stuff that old na due to probability of backjobs.

Cleaning the TB/MAF sensor cost 1.4k yesterday sa speedyfix (thanks migs&co!)

Most likely they just repeated their old findings without checking again. Feel ko tinamad lang yung SA/mechanic.

I guess the key difference here is that a good SA will tell you what your alternatives are.

He is my SA at Toyota Shaw. Really knows his stuff.
I also encountered Tony Jacinto at Shaw but only for regular PMS.

The CASA mentality is to really replace the whole shebang given the volume of cars they handle so they chances are they cannot provide the more personal, piecemeal repair.

Speaking of CASA relationships, I had a very good relationship with the chief mechanic at Nissan Gallery before and they really went through a lot of trial and error in finding the culprit of a recurring kalampag on my old B14 Sentra, and getting the clutch on my Tito's GU Patrol sorted out properly. It only hit me now that some of them even went and paid their respects to my dad, and also to my tito when they passed away. Talk about relations beyond business.

So if I bring it to Pasig, I have a better chance on the lemon law? My ex's lawyer friend said he will help me if they fail to fix this the fourth time. I am avoiding legal action because it will cost even more time and money.

I have a feeling they are not checking the car thoroughly. I have complained about the blower several times but they dismissed it.

I hope my complaint will not affect my SA negatively. He's accomodating naman and I think the actions of the mechanics are not in his control naman. BUT they should have monitored better since my problem is recurring na.

Aircon Lang yan... Wala Lang lamig... If I were you dalhin Mo nalang sa Reputable aircon shop, gastusan mo nalang... Tapos Na stress mo..

Casa's - car aircon is not their field of expertise...

    And void my warranty? No.

It's not just my AC. The suspension has an issue too. And it's not simple. How much does a new compressor cost? It's 42000. Plus parts are not that easy to find yet.

And it's a matter of principle too. Not just money. I paid for a brand new car expecting zero headaches.

Would you do that too if you had a brand new car with the same problem?

Cathy, you're suspension problem might have been caused when they suspended your vehicle on a lift for a long period. The shocks must've "sagged".

Alam ko sa service manager hindi kasi pwedeng ma release ang sasakyan kung wala siyang approval.
