Pasok sa lemon law yan cathy. Philippine Lemon law states "1st occurence of the prblem is within 1 year OR first 10,000 km, whichever comes first." This has to be documented by a repair report stating the date and odometer reading of the vehicle. Sa akin nga since may check engine light may picture pa ako ng dashboard alarms.

Also Cathy, and this is why I told you to write them an email that you will avail of the Lemon law, once you have advised them in writing the warranty clause of 3 or 5 years, whatever it may be, is no longer in effect. They will be obligated to keep repairing your car if the problem comes back even if it is already out of warranty. At para sigurado ka, send an email to dti also and make sure you get a reply, then forward the reply to Toyota Philippines. Lalo na kung ganyan na may pagka-tarantado ang dealership kelangan pile up the odds in your favor.

Kabisado ko na lemon law, strike 4 na din pick up ko and I am just waiting for strike 5.

When did you buy your car pala? Aug 2014 daw yung lemon law and it is not retroactive I bought my car Jan 2014

I will still write them a letter of complaint but where do I send it? Is it the generic email in Toyota? Also, do you know where I can send an email to DTI? I am wondering how my complaint will affect my service advisor? Mabait naman kasi yung SA kaya ayoko rin siya mapahamak hehe. I won't be bringing my car in the casa where I bought it. I will switch to another casa na, I hope they have better service.

I am really starting to hate my 11th gen Altis. I should not have bought in 2014 and waited until at least after a year for them to fix these common problems. Even better, I should have just waited (and saved) longer and bought a Fortuner. Maybe I would not be having these problems

    Saang casa ka nagpapagawa?

Toyota Shaw is decent. So far, okay kami doon for the last few years.

I suggest you raise this with Toyota customer service itself. Call or make an email. Be sure to get names and follow up.

We got a dashboard replacement out of warranty due to it being a design/material flaw (new one would have cost 40-50k), and I have no doubt they'd help you too.

Toyota Pasig. It's the same owner as Toyota Shaw afaik. I am very very disappointed with Toyota Pasig. I had nothing but good words about them before but my experience with my 11th gen destroyed everything. Toyota Pasig did replace the AC compressor twice But now I am thinking if they really did replace it kasi after 3 attempts, sira pa din yung AC. Now it is completely GONE. I cannot use the car anymore. It spends more time in the casa or garage than on the road It's an 18 month old car with a 9k odometer

This thread saddens me. I just bought an Altis a month ago.

Yung mga friends ko are going to Toyota BGC and Bicutan for their PMS or warranty claims. So far hindi pa naman sila nabigo. Engine/fuel related pa yung na warranty claim nung friend ko last time and mabilis lang naman nila nagawa. This is in Toyota Bicutan. (well, as long na they have the part)

Your friend's 11th gen had an ENGINE problem? Mine is aircon AND suspension I bought my Altis in Pasig but I will go to either Bicutan or BGC for my warranty claim this time.

I'm not happy with Toyota Pasig:
    - 15K service interval of my Altis, they were recommending to replace the brake pads. My car just hit 55,000kms an I celebrated it by replacing the brake pads that was recommended for replacement at 15,000kms.
    - Toyota Camry of my grandparents overheated due to a busted aux fan. They were charging 300K to replace the engine. I took the car to Speedyfix and paid less than half for the engine to be taken down and given a full makeover.
    - LC80 of our family was diagnosed to need some suspension parts replaced. I had the parts replaced on my own time at my suking tindahan. When the car was brought back for its next service stop, they were still telling us to replace the same parts.

Put your records together and go to Toyota BGC.

Contacted them back in 2012 for a 2007 unit via the contact form in their old website. I was then contacted via email then via phone call.

Try to email with complete details then follow up via calling. They were very helpful.

So far, happy kami sa Toyota Shaw. The SA there for all our cars is very helpful. Cannot say the same for Honda Shaw (moved to Honda Greenhills since then).

No excuse for this one. Maybe may naduling sa pagbabasa ng kapal ng pads.

Was also quoted a ginormous amount for a new throttle body for a 12 year old Camry. SA told me that the reason is because the part is too old, but it's alright to try to have it cleaned elsewhere pero pag sa kanila, hindi na raw gagalawin. If it is still faulty after cleaning, then new TB na. Sabi is that CASA SOP is just not to touch stuff that old na due to probability of backjobs.

Cleaning the TB/MAF sensor cost 1.4k yesterday sa speedyfix (thanks migs&co!)

Most likely they just repeated their old findings without checking again. Feel ko tinamad lang yung SA/mechanic.

I guess the key difference here is that a good SA will tell you what your alternatives are.

My friend's Innova. May something clever sa fuel pump. On his new Rav4 naman yung motor nung washer for the windshield. Oh yeah yung aircon nya rin sa Rav nya was acting up. Good thing Bicutan did act quick on his query.

If you'd go to BGC, ask for Jason Balocating.

You contacted Toyota first before bringing your car to the casa? I have a feeling Toyota Pasig was not really paying attention to my car.

Brought it up first with the SA during a routine PMS after the cracks on the dashboard got bigger and started to form in other places. This was when I was sure it wasn't damage we caused ourselves. Sabi lang nila, out of warranty na.

Went to the website to contact Toyota after and put everything in detail there.
