Toyota delivered my car after almost 3 weeks. The AC is working but it is still not as I expected! I knew it the moment I opened the AC. 30C yung reading ng outside temp. When I turned on the AC at 24C isang blower lang. And this was from a day sitting at the garage. Normally the blower should be at full blast then gradually lower as it reaches the desired temp. I do not think it should just be 1 blower considering that the weather is not cold tonight.

I don't want to complain anymore. I'm trying to be optimistic at least kotse lang problema ko and I still have a roof over my head, eat regular meals and my family is in good health. But I cannot help but cry from helplessness. Nakakasama talaga ng loob. Cooperative naman ako sa casa. They even charged me P500 dahil naubos na gas from the AC testing and road test. I would assume Toyota Pasig really made an effort to fix my car but I think we are not on the same page. I tried the AC ng hindi auto climate, malamig naman. So I think something is really wrong with the sensor. I asked them to check this pero parang hindi naman. They practically replaced the whole AC system, but did they check the sensor? It's like they burned the house down to kill a rat

Can someone please tell me what specific instructions I need to give the casa for them to check this? And I do know that the Altis AC is super cold. Mine was before I had problems with the AC.

if everything else fails, bring it to other aircon shop outside casa... Dinala ko sa eds car aircon, after a series of test... Naayos nila a.c.

Give it a try sa labas

maybe look ka na lang sa mga shops outside na may scanner and much better yung may oscilloscope. read all sensor data and parameters (pid.) one example is the ambient temp sensor (kung ang reading ng sensor ay mababa ang ambient temp natural hindi nya masyadong palalamigin ang ac or may chance pa na hindi nya paganahin ang compressor). in car temp sensor ganun din, yang mga solar sensors din. the casa should monitor manually kung ano ang mga inputs and outputs ng ac amplifier. sometimes may problema din either electric or mechanical and mga blend doors.

Cathy, will just try to address yung sinasabi mong blower strength.

Tapatan nya or not fine.

Parang dealing with waiter, pakisamahan mo sigurado asikaso ka. Nasa iyo naman kung paaabuso ka.

Yup pero yuns sakin 1 bar lang. And that was from sitting at the garage the whole day.

Pag hindi ka auto climate, ilang bar AC setting mo with this weather?

I dunno what the **** kind of testing Toyota did. Bakit 3rd compressor na. MAYBE JUST MAYBE THE FCKING COMPRESSOR IS NOT THE PROBLEM. Ilang araw na ko umiiyak sa inis

I had good relationship with my SA for 5 yrs before this happened. I actually held back complaining to TMPI because of that.

So sad your SA can't do something to have it fixed.

He is good in taking care of his clients pero I guess there is a problem with their technicians. Since special case na yun sakin, dapat tinutukan na. They give me that impression na tutok sila but the results are not consistent. Yung faint noise which I really think comes from the blower was not replaced. If they did a thorough check at ganyan pa rin then this casa must be full of nincompoops

Kapag mainit, nag auto ako or around 3 bar sa manual para lumamig kaagad. After a few minutes (around 30 during midday) after iadjust ko na sa 2 or even 1 bar.

_Cathy_ I didn't read through all the pages but I think It's time to change casa; preferrably Toyota owned so escalation is quicker. I'll simulate your conditon of outside temp of 30C then set the ac to 24C on auto to note what fan speed it will select then do some screenshots of sensor readings if any on techstream once I get the chance.

I already suggested that in the thread. Hopefully you do some technical testing to satisfy our cravings for results in this thread. Hehehe. Wish I could bring my fluke k-type thermometer but im not in the country. It only takes a few minutes to do these tests.

Also high and low pressure test but i think thats already too much. Re-vac sana sa labas.

Yours is a horror story for one who believed so much in a good brand of car but with a bunch of mediocre SA & technicians. Suggestion is you just have to have it diagnosed in an outside reputable & competent aircon shop for 2nd opinion then have it repaired in another Toyota casa with a reliable service technicians. I hope our fellow tsikoteers will recommend the best toyota casa in your area. Im frm the north so i cant recommend you one. Cheers!

This is what I see during diagnostics for the AC in GTS.
Setting is 28C with +2C offset (30C actual setting) but room temp sensor is at 24.75C already.
Our MID is showing the adjusted ambient temp w/c is showing 31C on the screen and 30.64 in GTS.
I wonder what your readings look like at the same temp setting for them to say that it's Okay?
