Best to bring it to pasig as this is the dealership which handled your complaints since day 1. Highlight your complain to upper management. Be very meticulous of your documents. You have to have everything in paper just in case your gonna file for the lemon law Ma'am Cathy.

Just bring it to the dealership asap since it's just sitting in your garage anyway.

Let Pasig do it since they volunteered. Ask them when they're scheduled to inspect the car, and ask to be allowed to see what they'll do to the car. If the issue has been raised to TMP, then they should know that you're not taking it lightly.

If it doesn't work, bring it to BGC. In any case, it's always better to be doing something than just letting time pass. Toyota dealerships are open on Saturdays so you don't have to take a leave again.

I just received an email from TMPI acknowledging receipt of my complaint. I do hope Toyota Pasig can finally fix this issue. I have been a loyal customer of Toyota Pasig and I had nothing but kind words to say about them. BUT this time I think they are making a fool out of me already. My next car purchase definitely won't be with them anymore. And I will discourage my friends and relatives from future purchases with them as well

Also had the worst cust svc experience in Toyota Pasig. Just imagine, nung nabangga RAV4 ko, it took them 6 months to replace the rear hatch(Insurance claim). But when I needed the wiring harness and engine junction block replaced, they said it will take a month for the parts to have it shipped from Japan. I told them I'll pay in cash, aba, in 1 week meron na silang part.

Count me in sa mga anti-Toyota Pasig. Kahit stonethrow away lang siya from my place, I still go to Toyota Makati or Marikina for my Altis' PMS.

I wonder what the heck happened to Toyota Pasig. They used to have good customer service. I also like how they improved their lounge area with free wifi Unfortunately, naiwan yung service sa improvement Nung nagpa PMS nga ko ng 10th gen ko, pag balik ng auto bigla umingay yung engine (tak tak tak), they picked up the car from my house because they know they messed up! But I still remained loyal to them. I've had it this time.

Maybe Toyota Pasig focused on selling cars. Napagka dami ng low down nila.

Sorry to hear about your lingering problem. It's quite disgusting that they've prolonged a relatively simple problem.

I've had an AC problem with my Sylphy too. Last Aug 05, on our way to St.Luke's hospital for my baby's delivery. I was puzzled that the AC isn't as cold as it seems. For a while it got me worried having a purely digital AC and there's no way to force it to work like a manually controllable one. We got stuck in traffic. I knew at the corner of my eye something is different with the instrument binnacle in front of me. Waiting to go forward, I checked the gauges, then something made me uneasy. The temp meter is rising beyond below-half. Recalling Tsikot discussions about how overheating ruins engines, I looked for a place to park and open my hood. It was weird because everything seems normal. Fan is working, coolant is at max level. No sign of leak whatsoever. No escaping hot vapor. I was like, WTF is going on.

Checked and followed the manual about overheating. Check temp. Do not let it go beyond 3/4 mark. Do NOT turn off engine. Turn Off AC, turn on heater mode. up 32C. Can you imagine being stuck in traffic with 32C air blowing inside the cabin? It was hell. To make matters worse, it started to rain and I don't have door visors. I just assured my wife that it must be a great blessing coming soon upon us. Of course, i was referring to my beautiful kid.

After checking-in at the hospital, I sent an email to Nissan Global Head Office. Told them I didn't spend 1 Million for a car with free Sauna. My email was strong-worded but I kept it decent. No cussing nor name calling. I just asked them how on earth can a regularly maintained car overheat. Gave them my initial observations in the engine and cabin (to expedite things). I maintained that the casa (North EDSA) are nice people but I am not happy with what happened to my car especially that day (of all days!). Few minutes after, Nissan head office CRM Officer called. Dealer CRM called. Of course, by their job nature, both apologetic. Next day I brought the car to the dealer (around 5pm so I won't get stuck in traffic and it's not too hot). They attached a wireless dongle to the OBD port. Tested bits relating to cooling and in a few minutes, found the culprit. The Fan won't switch to high mode. wow, that was neat (i said in my head). Service Manager Mr Patrick and Advisor (Mr Dennis) assured me they will expedite the part needed for my car that it will arrive first thing in the morning next day and that I can get the car by noon. True enough. I got it the next day. Checked the hood and yep, brand new fan. Looks like they had to remove the radiator though because I saw some spill of coolant which is ok with me.

Told them I am not confident with my alternator (I got two dead batteries, one brandnew). Despite being within spec upon testing, they replaced it (took five days for the part to arrive). I read in allsentra.com about how expensive that smart alternator is so I was quite uneasy with the thought it might go kaput beyond warranty (my car is already 14months old * 18K+). It's designed to only engage when you're not pressing the gas pedal at an attempt to higher gas mileage along with the diamond finish for reduced internal friction and offset cylinders. They replaced my battery too (w/ motolite Gold). Looking back, it was probably the faulty fan that ruined everything and killed my batteries (the brand new one, Panasonic 2sM, was recharged and now working fine in another vehicle). The stock GS LM one didn't survive. It really died and won't accept/retain charge anymore.

So, you're probably right. Your fan might be the one causing all your problems. It's just weird to me what's up with them doing trial and error on your car when a simple diagnostic test will reveal what really the problem is. My guess is that they think you're stupid and maybe they are doing some hooligan stuff (most likely for money relating to warranted parts). With the sea of corollas here, there is absolutely no way they haven't encountered your problem before and it presents a LOT of opportunity to make money (either by the dealer or the service division which is almost always a different company/entity.

BTW, you don't need a lawyer for filing a Lemon law complaint. Just go to DTI.They should have an Action office/ Public Assistance Desk. Of course, like anywhere, it helps that you know people.

And yes, you're right, don't have it fixed outside the casa and void your warranty. That is an absolutely stupid idea.

^I'm glad Nissan was able to address the issue right away.

I checked my car's AC today and there's air from the vents again It's not as cold as it should but still there's air, unlike the past 2 weeks na wala talaga.

Now my problem is if I bring it to the casa with air coming out, they might say as usual that nothing is wrong with the blower or they might replace the compressor for a third f-ck1ng time. I hope when I bring it to the casa, there's no air coming out again I hate Toyota Pasig! Incompetent mechanics! And BTW the last time they repaired my car, the interior was kinda dirty. I complained to my SA about this. Some owners (like me) are really meticulous in maintaining the cleanliness of the car, so they should be conscious about that.

Is Toyota Pasig a mother-company owned branch? If not, go to one.

Personally, I wouldn't go back to Pasig (though that's up to you). I'd go straight to a different, reputedly better branch for fresh assessment and new set of heads to think about solving my problem. I bought my car in Nissan Shaw but we had problem with them re: registration papers and their service area was filthy and I got hairline scratches after my 1K PMS. After that, tried Nissan North EDSA. After a visit, saw their workshop (very neat). People are just overall better (despite being also owned by the owner of Shaw).

Baligtad naman sa Nissan NE, often, my car comes in not so clean state and I get it well cleaned. As soon as you leave you car, they'll cling-wrap the steering wheel, stick and put paper seat cover.

My lawyer said it is retroactive, in the way that if tour car is below 1 year or have less than 10,000 km when the law was published then it will be applicable. So kung nung August 2014 your car which you bought in January 201r already had 10,001 km then di na siya applicable.

I bought mine February 2014 and it only had 5300 km when the first problem occured July last year. Ang problema di pala 10% depreciation kundi 20%, which means I lose 40% of the purchase price outright plus whatever other defect they see that is not covered by warranty. E scratched na ang paint in several places, gamit ko kasi sa farm yung pick up. I might just opt for a replacement of lower priced car replacement.
