I am still undecided on the exact shade, but I have also read somewhere that they have a silvery tint for their silver car. Maganda ba yun? Or personal preference lang talaga? I ask the tsikoteers' opinion kasi kayo ang magaling sa usapang cars.Originally Posted by number001

Also, pag nag lighter shade ba ako sa windshield, does it mean na kita din ako? This may sound silly but is there a tint na di ka kita sa loob pero clear pa din ung view mo palabas? There are so many choices and it's really hard to decide. Please help.
A dark shade tint matched to a light colored body paint (like silver) is a personal preferrence formed from observing other units on the road. My vehicle's color is also silver and I plan to use either black or charcoal when I have it tinted within the week. Btw, we used to have a silver 1990 Corolla with really "silvery" (almost like a mirror) silver tints. It doesnt look ugly naman but I still liked the black tints on other silver corollas back then.Originally Posted by driver4ever
About the visibility of the tints, get the one-way (sorry forgot the proper term) tints if you dont want to be visible to pedestrians or other people outside your car (when you are using the car). But when you are using the one-way tints, you can see clearly outside, just dont overdo things (like putting two layers of black tints-you wont be able to see at night).
I think a one-way tint is what I need. Anybody here who has this kind of tint? I'm really planning to have my car tinted ASAP. Your suggestions will be very useful.

I found a cheaper alternative. Platinum tints. P2,500 lang buong car na (5-door sedan), may 5-year warranty pa. I got this quotation from Araneta Car Accessories. Guys, you think this is a good price? I don't have much budget for brands like 3M and Solar Gard, but I don't want to use Neuvision since I heard so much negative feedback about it.
I've been reading a lot on tints on this forum and medyo nakakahilo na. Sino nga uli may mga platinum tints sa inyo? I tried the search function pero di ko na mahanap, sorry. Feedback naman uli please? Thanks!
I wanna get my tint really soon!
Originally Posted by mcbry

ok na siguro na combination yan. super black din actually gamit ko sa sides and rear. tapos medium black sa front.
pag medium magic black sa front hindi kana siguro makikita nyan dahil magic tint naman. if you really want na maganda vision sa gabi then i suggest get the neutral magic for the front.

but if i use neutral magic on my windshield, does it mean hindi din ako kita whether daytime or nighttime?Originally Posted by mcbry
hindi ka naman masyadong makikita pag neutral magic tint sa harap kasi reflective naman yung magic tint. pero if you really want na hindi ka kita sa harap then medium black magic yung gagamitin mo sa harap.Originally Posted by driver4ever

My car assistant was able to find a tint installer sa Banawe na P1,400 lang pero ang coverage is sides and rear, tapos ung sa windshield medyo weird kasi ang pina-cover lang nya is ung top and bottom part. So, that leaves the middle part untinted! I'm planning to have it removed and replaced with a one-piece tint for the entire windshied.
Guys, what looks better? Pag pinalagyan ko ba ung entire windhield ng medium black dapat pa ba alisin ung visor, or pwede na patungan un? Ung sa bottom part definitely papaalis ko un.
