Hindi naman nila aanihin ang mga tourist.
Maabala ka nga lang pag may protest action at magsara ang MTR on certain routes so as previously said, give plenty of time allowances sa mga critical na need mo puntahan.
Read mo maigi yung travel insurance policy mo, most of the time hindi covered ang mass civil actions.
The stuff posted on this thread is quite exaggerated. Truth be told, it is far safer to travel to Hong Kong, even now, than the Philippines, to wit:
- Mindanao is on Martial Law (Level 3 and Level 4 advisories from the US State Department).
- There is an epidemic of measles and dengue.
- Polio has come back.
- There is a communist insurgency in the provinces.
- Tokhang.
Thanks mga concern sa trip namin, if ma delay or for any other reasons, it will surely a trip to remember hahaha, yung joke ko nga sa mga kaibigan ko is that I'll buy some anti riot gear na and bring it to HK just in case.

Singaporeans advised to defer non-essential travel to Hong Kong ahead of planned protests: MFA - CNA
On its website, MFA listed some of the areas where protests are expected to take place:
Edinburgh Place in Central (Sep 27 evening)
Tamar Park in Admiralty (Sep 28 evening)
Festival Walk shopping mall in Kowloon Tong (Sep 29 afternoon)
Causeway Bay to Tamar (Sep 29 afternoon, with protesters likely to spill into other areas)
Salisbury Road to Prince Edward MTR station in Mongkok (Sep 30 evening)
Victoria Park in Causeway Bay to Chater Garden in Central (Oct 1 afternoon, with protesters likely to spill into other areas, including the British Consulate-General in Admiralty)
"Large-scale protests have been taking place across Hong Kong since June 2019 which have become increasingly unpredictable," said the ministry in its latest travel advisory.
"These protests can take place with little or no notice and could turn violent."
Singaporeans who are already in Hong Kong should take all necessary precautions to ensure their personal safety, said MFA.
"You are advised to stay vigilant, monitor developments through the local news and heed the instructions of the local authorities," the ministry said, adding that Singaporeans can follow Hong Kong police on their social media accounts for updates.
Things seem to be getting more violent with more vandalism and attack on percieved anti-protester shops and restaurants.

I'd like to congratulate Hong Kong protesters for destroying their own city
Wala na
Shops, trains. Infrastructute can be repaired but
HK is now psychologically damaged
Bye bye HK
HK cockroaches (protester/rioters) went on a rampage today. Destroying MTR entrances, street traffic light, pro-establishment shops and banks, and attacking anyone who do not agree with them. Even a Xiaomi Shop was attacked. Makes you think if Hkongers are less civilised that the mainlanders...
