How about Pinoy Pilots versus other nationalities? I remember before that someone commented to me that our PAF pilots were pretty skilled and too bad they did not have the adequate training and equipment.

meron din ako personal experience one of our company hired foker plane F27 landed safely by pinoy pilot.. with both engine down nag glide nalang kami..talagang laki pasasalamat nila yung katabi ko na 6footer na pang MMA ang katawan sabog ang ihi sa takot may inatake pa sa puso. but wala naman namatay..ng ma interview ang piloto naka tawa lang sabi nya sanay na daw sila sa philippine airforce kasi most of their fleet talagang na mamatay ang engine sa ere..

Very skillful ang mga PAF pilots natin. Gamitin ba nila yung mga vintage planes araw-araw kaya sanay sila sa emergency landings. :D

Same thing happened with my Tito on a military cargo plane before (not a C130 i think). Those things run like shuttles around the country (stopovers everywhere on a trip from Mindanao to Manila); Somewhere in the Visayas they were ordered by the Captain to start ditching their cargo into the sea then one engine shut down. The second engine went kaput near Cebu and they barely made it to the airport.

Ceb Pac, Cathay Pac... sounds like naman :D

My one comment with some of those stories and blogs... suddenly people remember each and every detail of the flight (20-20 hindsight?). Everyone is suddenly an expert in aviation.

ung flight ng zamboanga to manila last monday cebu pac was delayed for 6hrs 6pm dapat flight pero 12MN na lumipad.

Meron daw na-cancel na flight ang CebuPac, Manila to Boracay, may leak daw sa hydraulic system.

Hindi kaya over-used sobra mga planes nila na wala ng oras mag-undergo ng mga preventive maintenance and checkup?
