mga budget airlines like cebu pacific/jetstar/tiger air - walang individual display units sa mga upuan.
yung voice over lang na instructions normally ang naka-record.

Talagang parang bus ang interior ng mga budget airline. If you are afraid of tight seats and spaces....don't fly with them.

This is how Cebu Pacific A-319 aircraft looks on the inside. Arranged in threes on both sides, the seats are too compressed leaving on a few inches clearance between the front seat and your knees when you got properly seated. Aside from that located near the cockpit, there were no display monitors so the flight attendants would have to stand on designated locations between the aisles to demonstrate the safety procedures which I thought is a better way to make the passengers to pay attention rather that those video recordings from other airlines.

I was able to sit on both Cebu Pac and PAL emergency seats early this year. Don't recall being charged extra for the "privilege," if you could call it that. Short-haul flights (less than 2 hours) lang naman kasi ako parati, so the flight was too short for me to have noticed the benefit, hehehe.

But the seats were randomly assigned to me when I checked in at the counter. I didn't avail of the pick-a-seat option while booking online.

Usually may charge sa emergency row seats is kapag pasahero ang pumili way way before flight time and check n time.... Pero kung yung check in counter na ang nagbigay sa yo ng seat ( lalo na kung punuan talaga) walang charge yun...

Yes 20$ as I heared the cabin crew.. last may17 on my flight from manila to jakarta.. after crew closing plane door may nag request na isang pinoy kung pwede lumipat sa first row seat since bakante naman... crew said.. yes sir but you have to pay 20$ hahahaha hindi naka imik yung pinoy.
