when you say running ang engine sir? what do mean galing sa biyahe or just idle? no revolution sa gas pedal sir? nag adjust pa kayo P to P? anong sasakyan yan sir?

me drives an auto tranny pickup at eto ang parati ko ginagawa and to sum things up:

but before starting engine, check if fluid level is at maximum level at COLD range to ensure ATF supply.

    1. warm-up engine first 3-5 mins
    2. before i move the vehicle, i shift to all gear positions before running the vehicle (to lubricate all gear circuits)
    3. drive normally for about 10 kms (our home is 10 kms from the nearest gas station)
    4. after the 10km drive, i stop then engage to all gear positions again (P to L then back to P)
    5. with engine still running at idle, pull dipstick-wipe-insert again-pull out again-read.
    6. it should now be at maximum HOT range. if lower, add ATF slowly.

Note: if the end (the end that you hold with your fingers) of the dipstick is hot (not warm)to touch, it is already at operating temperature.

    fyi
