Mga Sirs,

Hope you can help me.

I have a 2010 Chevrolet Captiva A/T 2.4 gasoline engine.

Nagkaproblem sya and ayaw tumakbo now. Noong una pag D mode tumatakbo pero kapag malayo layo ayaw na. Sa manual mode gumagana sya sa 1 and 2. Kaya nadala ko pa sa casa nun..sbe transmission valve assembly daw..pero bukod sa mahal wala silang parts available. mga two weeks after, hindi na din tumatakbo kahit sa 1 or 2...pero reverse walang problem nagrereverse sya...

nagtry ako sa chevrolet mechanic sabi nya computer box daw... sbe sa thunder 38k daw un bnew nun...so i tried having it repaired sa RAMSA eh ok naman daw yong computer box...sbe naman fuse pero wala namang problem ang fuses...may nagsasabing wiring pero di naman sure...

I'm not sure kung ano sira nito...sana matulungan nio ako...

Could be worn seals, kulang sa pressure kaya nde nag engage yung gears. Kung tingin mo sure naman diagnosis ng casa try mo hanap parts online pa ship mo na lang. Ask mo sa casa yung part #.

i don't have a crosswind, but
first thing i'd do, is look around in the car, including engine bay and even underneath, for connections that may have been loosened when the car was being detailed.

Change mo muna a/t oil nyo sir then have your strainer cleaned as well. Baka kasi barado lang yung atf strainer and medyo namuo na ang atf mo sa tagal ng pagka tengga.

Mga sir/madam happy new year to everyone. I just signed in and if anyone could shed some light to my problem. I have a 20yr old car (accord 97vti s matic) got it 8months ago recently. I have been having problems in delay of shifting gears P to D, P to R. Pero ang pinaka matagal sa kanya ngayon is yung reverse, Sometimes forever before it engages. Shifting from 1st to 2nd needs to climb up to 3krpms the rest of the gears shifts normal after going through 2nd gear. Changed the atf recently with honda atf 3x already. I did some reading and ran through with solenoids. Maapektuhan po ba nia ung shifting ko with faulty shift solenoids. The car was shifting perfect nung nakuha ko sya. Other than that everything is perfect. Thank for reading my post and for any response.

Have your car checked muna by an a/t specialist sir. If solenoid sa transmission ang issue,you better change the entire tranny na sir. Sa akin dati, ang analysis ng computer eh solenoid din pero ni try muna namin palitan ang ecu ng transmission, ayun ok na ang shifting.

So as what you said if solenoid ang problem palit tranny na sir? Thanks sa feedback much appreciated. Wala bang option yan sir change the entire tranny talaga.

Sa pagka explain kasi sa akin, wala namang magbebenta ng solenoid (lalo na mga surplus shops) lang sir kasi yan ang buhay ng automatic transmission. I don't know kung makakabili ka niyan sa casa, but if ever baka mas makakatipid ka if bumili ka ng surplus automatic tranny sir.

Pero have it scanned muna sir at baka mamya mga sensor lang pala ang problema. Sa labas ng casa, around 1.2-1.5k singilan pag nagpa scan niyan sir.

I haven't heard of anyone who has the proper computer to diagnose the car's problem. Can you suggest me a place near Banawe QC where I could bring it for diagnostics?

A/Ts have solenoids (electromechanical device) in them that control fluid flow to engage certain gears or clutch packs. Needless to say, if there's a problem with the powertrain control module (PCM-the computer that controls the A/T), or if the solenoid(s) themselves are defective (ie. stuck, clogged, open/shorted, etc.), the A/T will not be able to cycle through all the gears at best, or not propel the car at worst.

About the warning lights, don't ignore them and just discount them as instrumentation problem. Have it checked immediately using a diagnostic computer to tell you or the mechanic exactly what's wrong with your car.

Sir saan ba nakakabili ng automatic transmission for Ford Everest model 2008 4x4 at do you have an idea kung magkano? Kailangan ko kasi ng comparison dahil may nag quote sa akin na shop ng 55 thousand for overhaul and repair. Kung surplus naman daw ipapalit nila around 90 thousand including labor.

Kindly advice me. Yong kasing sasakyan ko habang nag-travel kami sa Tanay, Rizal parang may pumutok na hose akala ko yong aircon pero hindi pala. Huminto yong sasakyan at ayaw na mag move pero umaandar yong makina.

Di maganda ang experience ko kay Bulaong. Umayos naman ang AT ko pero naka-ilang backjob din dahil sa pumuputok na axle seal. Yung major leak sa Greenbelt nangyari naglawa ang pulang ATF sa parking slot. Buti na lang bukas pa Blade nakabili pa ako ng ATF para ma topup.

Make sure lang na bantayan mo ang trabaho nila pero prepare to spend the whole day in their shop. My bad experience happened a long time ago though (7+ years) so sana umayos na ang trabaho nila.
