I guess the practice / casa schedule of replacing atf every 40kkm is because of the heavy traffic on the Metro (???)

For Toyota Innova AT, nakalagay sa owner's manual for ATF every 40,000 km or 24 months, I = Inspect and correct or replace as necessary.

ATF oil pan filter... metal screen lang yun technically. to trap large particles...
the smaller metal particles are held by the magnet inside the atf pan.

    That is correct bro.

But I am not taking any chances and so I am having my atf replaced in a few weeks....

And I guess the casa interprets this as replace....

P1000 for the service bro. Asked them an hour ago... They were recommending the use of a cheaper dexron3 atf to flush out. Cost is P280 per liter. I think I will be using the original Toyota atf for everything. BTW, asked Bicutan for a quote, they were recommending 3 liters of atf only si just drain and replace.... But total cost of pms at 40kkm is P15k.....

Sir, aside from what is stated in the manual, is there any other way to check the condition of ATF for D4D engine. May dipstick din ba sya like sa engine oil?

So kung metal screen lang siya. Linisin lang siya or palit din dapat. Is this a necessary replacement item?
