ATF change

Tanong lang guys, magpapalit kasi ako ng ATF (lancer singkit kotse ko) ilang litro ba kailangan kapag nagchange fluid? Bibili na lang kasi sana ako para labor na lang babayaran ko, plano ko bilhin castrol dexron II okay ba yan? Ano pa bang pwedeng alternatives? Parang mahal kasi ata yung castrol.

Check your manual kung ano ang fluid rating nya, am assuming Dexron II or III yan. Whiz or Petron are cheaper alternatives, sa auto supply po kayo bumili and wag sa gasoline station kasi mas mahal

Dexron II ang ginagamit. How about yung mobil, mobil 220 ba counterpart sa dex II number kasi nakalagay sa mobil.

Wala na akong nakikitang Dexron II, puro Dexron III na. Backward compatible naman yan and mas kalat. As noted kanina Petron or Whiz mas mura, di ako familiar sa iba

Replacement sir. 2 or 3 years na kasi akong hindi nakakapagpalit, hirap rin kasi sa hatak tsikot ko.

I was reading the manuals of our AT rides for the atf replacement :
Toyota - replace only when necessary or when driving regularly in harsh conditions
Honda - every 60kkm
Hyundai - every 90kkm

I guess the practice / casa schedule of replacing atf every 40kkm is because of the heavy traffic on the Metro (???)

Severe conditons sa Toyota Pinas and Toyota Canada lol. I think even Mazda CA. My Hyundai service center insists 40k for atf i do mine 35k. Its not that expensive for some. Glad my SA uses the Hyundai SPIV fluids. Ill stick with my schedule. 200k warranty is an awesome deal for road warriors.

Yes, bro. However, this is the Toyota Innova - "design of which is supposedly for Asia".... Could be cut and paste from their other Owner's Manual.... They require "Toyota Genuine ATF Type T-IV".....

Yes, 40kkm is the local industry practice for ATF replacement... Note however, that for Hyundai (Grand Starex) Manual states every 90KKm....

It is not there in any manual, bro..... Although I was talking with the guy who is doing the dialysis last week on another vehicle,- he says it is not required to replace the filter for as long as you do dialysis... Does not make sense to me.....

Sa Customer's Cradle ka ba nagpa-dialysis ng ATF? How many liters of ATF did you pay for? TIA.

sa labas na ako bumili ng oem mitsubishi atf at dinala ko na lang doon. 15 liters ang nagamit ko pero i think bitin ng 1 pang litro para pristine talaga uli ang laman ng transmission ko

Thanks bro.,- ako naman ang Innova na ang due,- so bili rin siguro ako ng Toyota Genuine ATF Type T-IV.... Hayyzzz....

Hindi ko naitanong last weekend sa kanila,- but I saw the equipment and them doing dialysis on a 2010 Mazda3....
