What I said on my previous post is base on my experience on my daily route in C5 where in vehicles there are 90% private. And there are areas talaga na kahit marami na sasakyan kulang pa rin sa dami ng tao especially at rush hours like in our place along Marcos hi-way.

+1. That's what I really have in mind when I said root cause in my previous post.

I gave up on the traffic situation long ago. I understand that the MMDA wants to help motorists but they shouldn't be lenient in enforcing those rules on jeepney drivers na "makulit".

The best classic example is northbound Quiapo area and jeepney's literally PARKING at the first 2 lanes of the underpass just to ferry passengers. Ano naman ginagawa ng MMDA? Nakatayo lang dyan dyan lang. Paminsan hinaharangan yun 3rd lane. WTF.. Tell me on how traffic can be solved when you reduce moving lanes from 3 to 1.

Hell, most of us accept unofficially that the right-most lane is the "jeepney" lane.

In any case, mabilis lang solution pag sa umaga... depart before 7am hits :D

maraming rason kaya nagkakaganyan sa C5 o maski sa iba pang pangunahing kalsada sa MM....

    Mahirap isaisahin bro...

?Traffic costs P2.4B daily? | Inquirer Business

    By Michelle V. Remo

If time is money, then the Philippines is losing P2.4 billion a day in potential income due to traffic congestion that eats up time that could have been used for productive pursuits, Socioeconomic Planning Secretary Arsenio Balisacan said.

Balisacan, National Economic Development Authority (Neda) chief, was quoting a study by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (Jica) that the government has tapped to help come up with a transportation development road map for the country.

“It’s a no-brainer that we need to boost infrastructure. We have a huge backlog in almost all types of infrastructure,” Balisacan said, adding that the government intends to invest in more roads, bridges, railways, airports, and sea ports during the remainder of President Benigno Aquino III’s term.
Gawa muna sila ng master plan.

Yeah, that's what our goverment forgets. Every last minute saved equates to more productivity time.

But of course they won't notice this, they're just sitting around and stealing from all the tax payers. Some won't even care at all.

Correct, wag yung puro band-aid solution. Dapat yung pang long term say 20 years from now.

Time is running out na kay Pnoy.

Traffic!
