    its a disorganized system. drivers naguunahan.. if they truly are organized then fair dapat ang system nila...

    This. I'm all for modernization and the safety/convenience of the riding public pero not at the sake of displacing jeepney drivers who can't afford to pay that much. Saan ilalagay yung mga hindi kaya magbayad? May plano na ang gobyerno diyan? Kung sakaling gawin nila tong mandatory madadagdagan na naman ang mga mahihirap na unemployed, lalo pa ngayon napakahirap maghanap ng trabaho.

    From what I read 800 pesos daily ang amortization, so kung 750 pesos na ang boundary ngayon, it's just an increase of 50 pesos daily. But boundary in the provinces are lower, baka mas mahihirapan ang jeepney operators sa probinsiya.

    Pang bile nga ng tires wala, pang pa full tank wala din.... they cannot even afford to buy new shoes and clothes..... nor be approved for 20k Credit limit on C. Cards..

    Im a former Jeepney driver, during the time... i cant even afford to eat at MCdo or jollibee... what more kung may 25k monthly payments akong binabayaran... sira na nga ang jeep... mahina na preno.. napipilitan pa din gamitin kasi wala ngang pera... para may pang baon at pag kain pang araw raw ng mga bata...

    Increase sa min. Fare? Edi nag revolustion mga pasahero... sa .25c nga na kulang mo sa sukli... inaalipusta ka na ng iilan pasahero.... lalo na kung gawin mong P15 yan min. Fare...

    Kung alisin kasi ang boundary system baka ang maging kawawa naman eh operators. Pwedeng pa bandying bandying na lang mga Drivers Either way meron sila sweldo, Then pwede pa kupit at hinde i submit lahat ng bayad ng pasahero sa operators.

    Hindi sila makapuslit kung beep card na gamit. Pero yes, magtambay lang sila, talo na agad operator.

    yan talaga eliminate nya mga mom and pop operators, dapat corporation na ang operator parang yun mga P2P buses na sosyal

    why would you rather be at the meecy of these operators na binangga sasakyan mo tapos pinasa ng driver sa operator tapos yun operator deadma.

    dapat nga pati sa trucking corporation na din, i mean dapat trucking is fo trucking corporation, trading biz is mag-hire na lang ng trucking corporation.

    its really simple, let say i have money to becme operator mga 5M maybe that could buy me 5 jeepneys. yan nag mentality ng jologs ba operator.

    eh ako even if I have 5M i wouldnt venture in that coz may public accountsbility pa din eh, riding public and 3rd parties. dapat mag-leave ka ng budget duon in case something untoward happens. so yun 5M ko baka 3 jeep na lang mabile, yun 2M sa logistcs, insurance etc.

    that is how I will do business if not I wouldnt go forward to something that I am not fully comfortable, eh yan mga operator yan they dont. and this is why the entire Philippine public transport system is a mess.

    ikaw shadow, lets say sakay Greyhound buo family mo, east coast to west coast, syempre you would feel safe coz Greyhound is a corporation, eh pano kung nalaman mo isang American couple lang pala mayari ng bus mo tapos na ligaw kayo sa tornado. alley.

    Just rode a fx earlier.. I heard the driver saying:

    "Bumili na kayo ng motor, mawawala na ang mga jeep sa January. Yung kapitbahay namin na may jeep, hindi na pinayagan irehistro sa LTO. Papalitan na ng electric jeep. At hindi namin kayo lahat sasaluhin kapag wala na ang jeep dahil kakaunti lang kami"

    Although I ride din a jeep, hindi ako naniniwala sa sinabi nya. From what I'm reading and heard sa news, the old ones will be replaced by these new ones. Paano kaya yung mga common people who mainly use the jeep as mode of public transportation?

    maliit lang naman ata ang kita ng mga drivers dahil hindi sila ang nagmamay-ari ng mga jeep na gamit nila...
