blank kasi yung plate number sa CR ko. also, when and how will you claim the license plates when already available? sorry, 1st time to buy a brand new car so i don't know these things.
My wife & I got our cars July last year. I got a Mazda, & my wife got a Toyota. My Mazda SA texted me around September I think my assigned plate number. For my wife's Toyota, wala pang advise up to now yung SA.

Is there a way to follow up or report dealers that are taking too long with the release of the OR/CR? I've been waiting for a month and lagi lang sinasabi is "wait lang ulit tayo 1 week". They say they already submitted requirements to LTO and they're just waiting for the release, but I think it's really the dealership that's causing delays (batch processing) and I want to be able to do something about it.

I think transmittal form yata yun.

Hi, my car dealer already sent the letter of transmittal to LTO last July 14 but until now LTO cannot provide the OR/CR, any advice what could be done? Where can I escalate LTO for the delay? Thanks

Just continue to follow up with your dealer, kasi may mga contacts din sila sa LTO for such matters.

    Hello,

Kahapon pa pala nasa kanila di nila inemail sakin. Naunahan tuloy ng reklamo ko. Todo sorry sakin dealer. Hahah

Mukhang napagalitan sila or watever hahah super apologetic talaga nung tumawag sakin eh.

Guys, sabi dealer puwede ko daw gamitin ang oto for 7 days upon release and tago ulit sa garahe after then puwede na ulit gamitin oag may or/cr na.
    Legit claim po ba ito?

If hindi talaga puwede gamitin, safe kaya ipasafekeep ko muna sa kanila yung unit ko until such time magkaron ng or/cr? Isip ko baka babuyin eh since bayad na...

I only have the advanced copy of the waiver but nothing states that the dealer isnt liable. Ansabi lang wag gagagmitin on public roads.

Naguguluhan lang ako kung puwede ba talaga gamitin for 7 days upon release.

Alam ko dapt diretso sa garahe mo... But many are using their rides even after the 7 day period.

The 7-day window for a dealer to register a sold vehicle with the LTO is merely the penalty-free window within which the registration must be processed. (RA 4136. Chapter V. Sec. 56. A.) This doesn’t mean that a vehicle can be operated without registration. In fact, RA 4136 also penalizes driving a motor vehicle without registration. (Chapter V. Sec. 56. D.)

kapag nahuli kayo, ay kayo ang malilintikan.
to pass on the guilt to the casa... that takes time and effort, and money (lawyer's fees).

    Hi Sir,

Did you use your car right away without the OR/CR?

Or mali lang ako hehe [emoji28]

Thanks paps. LTO is charging us for their incompetence. Wala pa nga din ako nakikitang nahuli. Lalo na ngayon suspended ang UBER. ,

because the conduction sticker comes from the manufacturer, and not the government?

I think it's from LTO to ensure that the procurement/importation of the vehicle went through legal process.

    Andito sa LTO website:

(1.a.a.1) Issuance of Conduction Sticker – Conduction stickers are only issued to accredited assemblers and importers of whole MV for road testing and delivery. The conduction sticker is used to allow legal utilization of motor vehicles prior to its initial registration.
With more reason pala, bakit ang tagal nila makarelease/process ng plates pero ang bilis naman sa conduction sticker?

Akala ko customs ang nagkakabit ng conduction stickers for their inventory count upon payment of duties and taxes.
