Let me share my horrible experience with Toyota Alabang. My story is quite long so please bear with me.
My unit was released last December 28, 2016 and the only document given to me were the sales invoice and delivery receipt.
January 2017, I called my agent 2 times to follow up the status of my unit's LTO registration and she told me that it is in progress. I patiently waited and hoping that TAI can release my OR/CR within that month.
February 10, 2017, I called my agent and asked for an update and she told me that the registration is still in progress. That was the time that I asked my agent to furnish me a copy of the LTO transmittal to prove that the registration is truly in progress. Lo and behold, there were no transmittal letter from the LTO. I was fuming mad with the agent and asked her the whereabouts of my unit's CSR. She told me that the CSR is still in process. Toyota Alabang blamed LTO for this mess due to the shortage of paper to print the CSR. I gave TAI a verbal warning to fix this mess or else I will file a complaint against them.
Yesterday, I asked my wife to go to Toyota Alabang to personally followup the registration status since I am currently out of the country. She insisted to talk directly to one of the manager of TAI. That manager told my wife that the registration is still in progress and he showed my wife the copy of the CSR which was dated February 17, 2017 and they are currently doing the PNP clearance. That was the time that my wife called me thru Viber and asked the TAI Manager to explain to me the big mess that TAI did.
I asked the manager to explain to me why the CSR is dated February 17, 2017 and yet they are still doing the PNP clearance yesterday. It took them 2 weeks from the issuance of CSR until PNP clearance. He gave me the same BS excuse that the delays were caused by LTO and PNP. I told him that I cannot accept his excuse and I will file a formal complaint to LTO and DTI for their incompetence and negligence. I also told him that it is illegal to sell brand new cars without the CSR as it was one of the requirements given by LTO to brand new car owners to able to drive and use the car within a week from the date of purchase while waiting for the registration. That was the time that the TAI manager promised me to complete the registration by 2 weeks time and he will personally pullout my papers from the department who is handling the registration for TAI and will treat it as special priority for them to finish the registration in two weeks time. I also asked the manager to provide me a written letter signed by him stating that they will release my OR/CR on march 24, 2017 in which he is quite hesitant at first but I left him no other choice but to do so.
I hope my bad experience may serve as a warning to you all and stay away from Toyota Alabang.

Guys there is a Toyota and Ford customer hotline. The agents are low level slave slash scapegoats.

Sir, napaka tragic naman nyan.. try mo paps yung 8888 hot line, I sent a few photos dito sa thread na to about it.. in a few days, nakuha na nya OR/CR nya.. you shouldn't wait until march 24 paps.. that's 3 months after getting your car.. teach TAI a lesson..

March 9th, 2017 08:33 PM #228I think depende yan sa arrangement mo sa dealer. If may branch sila sa Manila pwede mong i request na NCR ung rehistro mo. Shemps yung unit mo rin must be that one tagged sa Manila branch.

Scanned copy lang kasi binigay samin last month (full payment ginawa namin so dapat ibigay samin yung original copy). Now, more than 1 month na since narehistro yung kotse according sa date sa or/cr pero wala pa din daw sa kanila yung original copy. Nakakapagtaka tuloy kung bakit wala pa rin sa kanila.
Ilang km/day po yung assumption nito na 6 yrs?
