This is a 4 lane road, narrowed down to 3 at mas a matindi yung mga tent na may pangalan at mukha pa ng mga politiko na laganap halos sa buong Mandaluyong!

Useless talaga ang mga local officials dito from the mayor to the baranggay, at bakit di ito naire-report sa hotline ni Digong!

If I own a condo unit and didn't buy a parking lot... Will LTO accept a receipt from a nearby lot that I have rented the lot as long term parking? If the lot owner does not want the hassle to issue a receipt (BIR issues), can I send photos?

IMO, allow people to buy as much cars as they want (car industry supports so many people) but tow illegally parked cars!

I had this argument with a FB friend, she was celebrating with the "upcoming" law... I told her, it won't help you with your neighbor problem (their neighbor loves to park in front of their house making it hard for her to enter and leave their garage)... Because they live in a subdivision!

pwede ba nating iasa or idulog sa government na magtayo ng public parking building (as in building ah) to accommodate those car owners na laging nagpapark sa kaye. (but, being in Metro Manila can have a difficult time looking for a viable lot to build it), and of course, may fee din siya.

    'twon't solve the problem.
no one will park there, even if free, if it were more than 10 meters away from his front door.
    alamunamanang pinoy...
    heh heh.
    joke?

but seriously.. in my neighborhood, someone already converted his empty lot into an open pay parking. over 20 vehicles na.. malapit nang mapuno..
and in the nearby street, there's a sign saying, "garage sale". truly, truth in advertising!
but... only private cars are renting. the jeepneys and tricycles still prefer free parking on the road.

anyone can present yung bakanteng lote nila sa probinsya as parking, pero sa manila pala nakatira tapos nakaparada sa kalsada.

if required only sa new cars, then buy 2nd hand.

meron din wala parking sa bahay, pero they rent a parking space (tulad ko).

meaning maraming proseso, marami din lusot, just go straight to the point... sa kalsada magkakaalaman

I think I would be fine with it being imposed on private car owners only if they go after PUBs/PUJs/Taxis/UV Express/Tricycles/Delivery Trucks/Vans first. Especially PUJs and Tricycles which, more often than not, use the streets or the bottom portion of a flyover as their garage or depot. Considering the noisy public transportation lobby, maybe LGUs can put up common depots which will be paid for by operators so they can park their vehicles there.

For delivery trucks/vans, dapat talagang NO MERCY.

It's still "for rent" and (just a what if) the lot can be used to park 4 Full Size SUVs, but since puro Wigo naka-park, will the owner be allowed to issue 6 certificates?

As mentioned earlier... The law will have a lot of loopholes in reality "pinapa-asa lang tayo"

As mentioned earlier... You can always buy a second hand car

2 what if your company provides a "company car"

3 what if I buy a car using my province address with my lolo's farm as my parking lot?

Best solution is to tow all illegally parked cars!

Correct! Towed illegally park vehicles in a no parking zone.

I agree, lots of loop holes in providing proof of garage/parking. Yeah, best solution nga is to tow the illegally parked vehicles. But then, people might find a loop hole in which is legal/illegal.

And if you have a party at home, can your guests park along the street? Or mag uber na lang sila? hehe

If we will always place in our minds that law will have loopholes, then why we all not think of ways to lessen it. Our life has its limits in living in this world, same as any rule of law, created by us humans.

it's difficult to contest the towing, if the vehicle was parked under the "no parking" sign.
and partying does not exclude one from the law.

    i already voiced similar opinion, threads 59 & 60, 8 months ago.

Needed to issue 6 certificates? Why not. If it can fit all 6 vehicles instead of 4.

Why should I accept a company/corporate vehicle, when I don't have a garage in our property/home. It will be just a burden for me.

park the company vehicle on the road. if it gets towed, let us see how much longer you will be working in that company.
    common sense.

If you use your lolo's farm as you intend to be your registered garage space, then that is fine. You are not violating that law.

I think the solution is to have each baranggay have a designated towing services and each city have a designated lot kung saan itatambak. Para alam na nila ang mga professional street parkers at yung mga nakikipark lang sandali.

Meron dito sa amin, mga lumang sasakyan na di na pinapaandar at flat na ang gulong pero sa street naka park. Yon ang mga dapat inaalis.
