No Garage Parking, No Car Law?

anyone can present yung bakanteng lote nila sa probinsya as parking, pero sa manila pala nakatira tapos nakaparada sa kalsada.

if required only sa new cars, then buy 2nd hand.

meron din wala parking sa bahay, pero they rent a parking space (tulad ko).

meaning maraming proseso, marami din lusot, just go straight to the point... sa kalsada magkakaalaman

Tama, ganyan lang naman kasimple yan. Di na kelangan ng bagong batas.

Mga kapitbahay nga namin maluwag naman ang garahe, pero nasa daanan ang mga sasakyan. Tamad magpasok!
Mga business establishments sa tabing kalsada, sa kalsada nakaparada ang kanilang sasakyan at clients nila.

In short walang silbi ang batas na yan kung walang manghihila.

I think I would be fine with it being imposed on private car owners only if they go after PUBs/PUJs/Taxis/UV Express/Tricycles/Delivery Trucks/Vans first. Especially PUJs and Tricycles which, more often than not, use the streets or the bottom portion of a flyover as their garage or depot. Considering the noisy public transportation lobby, maybe LGUs can put up common depots which will be paid for by operators so they can park their vehicles there.

For delivery trucks/vans, dapat talagang NO MERCY.

Remember the "Early Warning Device requirement"??? We were able buy a receipt outside LTO...

If I own a condo unit and didn't buy a parking lot... Will LTO accept a receipt from a nearby lot that I have rented the lot as long term parking? If the lot owner does not want the hassle to issue a receipt (BIR issues), can I send photos?

IMO, allow people to buy as much cars as they want (car industry supports so many people) but tow illegally parked cars!

I had this argument with a FB friend, she was celebrating with the "upcoming" law... I told her, it won't help you with your neighbor problem (their neighbor loves to park in front of their house making it hard for her to enter and leave their garage)... Because they live in a subdivision!

Kung may registered business name, need talaga ng receipt. Pero kung proof lang na umuupa ka ng garahe at hindi naman business nya magpaupa ng garahe-an. Certification letter lang siguro sa owner of the lot, na inuupahan mo.

It's still "for rent" and (just a what if) the lot can be used to park 4 Full Size SUVs, but since puro Wigo naka-park, will the owner be allowed to issue 6 certificates?

As mentioned earlier... The law will have a lot of loopholes in reality "pinapa-asa lang tayo"

Best solution is to tow all illegally parked cars!

If we will always place in our minds that law will have loopholes, then why we all not think of ways to lessen it. Our life has its limits in living in this world, same as any rule of law, created by us humans.

A certificate every renewal is a good idea. But not all will be honest about that. Baka mas dumami pa ang tumangkilik sa fixers nyan.

Like what others said, tow those who park irresponsibly or those who make the street as their own personal garage.

But first, the towing service needs to be heavily scrutinized and properly accredited by local authorities. (Again wishful thinking)

sige lang wala kayong gawin. grabe byahe ng mga officemates ko. Nova, Fairview to E. Rod QC. 2 hours+. pauwi ganun din. nung estudyante ko pag 1 hr byahe mo one way sobrang layo na bahay mo. pag more than 1 hr probinya na. but not for the riders[emoji3]. may officemate ako taga binangonan 45mins easy ride. kaya 30 mins kung hahatawin.
