GH, pano mo nadedetect yung sa NLEX/SCTEX ? Meron ka different device aside from your Valentine One?

Kapag gabi nga hindi na masyado humahataw mga tao. Nakakainis lang kasi grabe hoggers ng overtaking lane kapag gabi. Ibahin ang madaling araw though, diyan marami.

Dunno. Maybe simple price bidding lang or advantage of pinpoint aiming on specific "offending" cars. NLEX bought their radar speed guns earlier while the MMDA and SLEX people bought theirs only very recently.

I am assuming one of the reasons why they chose the laser speed guns is it is hard to "avoid" getting caught even if you have a laser detector. Although a laser/radar detector will sound the alarm if it senses a laser hit, it is usually too late to take any evasive action because it only takes a fraction of a second to measure your car's current speed & take a photo at the same time. There is also very little overflow emissions so vehicles (with detectors) farther away can sense the laser. Radars usually have a wider beam so it is easy to detect it even in excess of 1 or 2 km away (terrain dependent).

Hence, I have a laser jammer (instead of laser detector). Once the laser jammer detects a signal, it shoots back a signal to make the laser gun read "error". At same time, the laser jammer device will sound an alarm so the driver may take evasive action.

I just have my Valentine One radar/laser detector. I also have a laser jammer system installed in my ride.

The Valentine One display shows the type and number of radar/laser signals as well as how strong the signals are (assuming it's not yet to alarm levels).

Sir GH 1 question po, does this laser/radar detectors able to detect/jam if they are positioned to shoot at the rear side of the car?
i mean patalikod kasi ang style ng pagshoot ng radars dito sa doha, so will the detectors able to "sense" them from far away? TY!

    Depends on your detector brand/model..

In the case of the Valentine One, it will detect radar/laser sources from front/side/rear (radar) and front/rear (for laser). BTW, window tint will affect the detector's sensitivity.

Are you sure they use radar and not laser in doha?

Anyway, given the cops shoot the rear end of the car makes it harder to detect the speed-trap from long distances because the radar emissions are going in the other way. It is possible to detect the radar "scatter" (radar beam reflections from metal objects) at close distances but it wouldn't be dependable as a warning.

Usually around lunch time, the speed guys aren't around. Hot times are usually in the morning until before lunch. Last December 22, i spotted the Crosswind in the Bulacan south bound area in it's parked "hunting" angle.

However, it's not advisable to go at high speeds at night either due to limited visibility. I recall before a husband and wife were killed in an accident on SCTEX as they failed to see a truck with poor/no lighting.

Saksakan ng dilim sa SCTEX sa gabi. Konti lang ang area na may street lights. Overspeeding in almost complete darkness is a stupid thing to do.
