NEWS: Get ready to scrap your car’s license plates

Ang ibig sabihin pag kukunin na yung new plates, dapat dalhin natin yung auto natin?! Hassle naman!

No offense but when we register our cars on a yearly basis we still need to bring our cars to lto for stencil and smoke emmission right? That is if we do it the right and legal way.

We get the new plates on our registration so thay means if your car's plate number ends in 5 and ideally you have registered it this year last May, you go to the LTO only for the new plate next year of May which coincides with your yearly registration.

For those who have new vehicles whose car are registered for 3 years, you get the new plate only after the end of the 3year period.

When they said it will be implemented this September, it doesnt mean all vehicles should have the new plate by September.

OT: Yung OR/CR in-email lang saken ng dealer. OK na ba to kahit i-print ko lang? o kailangan ko yung Original talaga?

+1 this is my reason too aside from preserving the plate.

I got my plates confiscated din for illegal parking (but that's another story). We were several cars and mine got scratched in the process Some with plate covers were spared and the police had to wait for the owners to arrive. Deterrent din plate cover somehow.

Most likely kaliwaan. If walang plate lahat, patay yan. From corrupt enforcer to carnap syndicate, lalabas lahat yan.

Halos lahat ng LTO offices very limited lang or walang parking space, gaano katagal na panahon kaya ang malilipas bago matapos nila ang pagpalit ng mga plaka natin? Sa tingin ko magiging magulo iyan.

^ yep magulo yan for sure. Walang protocol na naman yan, bara bara na kaya dadami na naman suhol sa lto boys. One more that I can picture is dapat sa mother file ka magparenew. Hassle sobra yan.
