may nakapag try na kaya na... habang nag nego pa lang sa car... kasama ang DELIVERY ng OR/CR and plates sa usapan? like a portion of downpayment.. release ng unit... then hindi irelease yung next payment hanggang di lumabas or cr at plates?
but market forces also at play here... who wants the transaction more.. the buyer of the vehicle na gusto agad makuha unit... or yung dealer na gusto makabenta... sadly yung gobyerno uli ang nahuhuli...
Newbie lng po kasi ako in terms of buying my first car. Honestly i am leaning to get my first car in suzuki commonwealth pero dami ko nababasa na problem din po dun. Any advice po. Anu po ba ang dapat kong i-demand or sabihin to get this done. Sa tingin ko wala na po yata matinong dealer [emoji111]🏻️[emoji16]
oo totoo yan ... car dealers don't want to have a car already sold on their lot ... it takes up space for new units! ... sagutin pa nila kung may masamang mangyari
before giving them any money, ask if they have all the papers ready for registration, let them show it to you, (take a photo with ur phone for reference and because you will never see those papers again) ... if satisfied with what you see, there's no reason to delay the registration ... the registration process only takes an hour or two if papers are complete ... and if lucky, you will be asked what ending number you prefer
the LTO website lists the papers required for registration
MOTOR VEHICLE-RELATED TRANSACTIONS
in 2005, the dealer took two weeks to complete the papers ... in 2007, papers were complete on the day of sealing the deal, the car was registered the following day
good luck po sa pagbili ng sasakyan![]()
Wow..thanks for the advice sir. Just want to have enough knowledge before i go to the dealer kasi baka kapag nakita nila na wala akong knowledge in buying a car eh mag take advantage sila [emoji29]. Just my thought lang.
kasi what good is a vehicle if it is not registered? even if dealers "give free lto" as part of package... unable naman ang buyer mismo ang mag register.. since yung ibang records ( tax payments, etc) nasa dealer / brand owner... so dapat kasama... i think dti ang mag spearhead dapat nito.. dotc lro is only concerned sa fees na kikitain nila apparently...
Mahirap din kse pag dineliver sa bahay mo tops tinaggihan mo, so babalik ang driver sa casa with the same car, then attempt na naman sila again maybe weeks or days after, sa kakapabalik-batik ng car nalaspag Dahil Lang sa no plates
This plays in the minds of first time buyers and new car buyers so mas mabuti na Lang accept-in. Alam din ng casa at agent ito. Then there's the case of the hot models like Ecosport, Mu-x,.
^ kaya huwag atat mauna sa pagbili ng kotse ... so what kung ikaw yung 1000th buyer? as long as nabili mo yung dream car mo, ayos na yun![]()
Nice tips Bro Kinyo! The LTO should post this info in the dailies so everybody should adopt a "no plate, no purchase policy".
Just an advice doc, it may be better to forget about the case na. For one, it will not prosper in LTO because the plate has been issued already. For another, the LTO will not adjudicate damages in your favor. Better to charge na lang sa experience and don't buy again from the same dealer. Should you really want to seek compensation for all the trouble caused, you may need to file it before a court. It spells more costs and inconvenience and it may not be worth it in the end.
