Filing a complaint against your dealer with the LTO

Just an advice doc, it may be better to forget about the case na. For one, it will not prosper in LTO because the plate has been issued already. For another, the LTO will not adjudicate damages in your favor. Better to charge na lang sa experience and don't buy again from the same dealer. Should you really want to seek compensation for all the trouble caused, you may need to file it before a court. It spells more costs and inconvenience and it may not be worth it in the end.

Thanks to this thread, I got my plate today. Last Thursday, I threatened my dealer & told them that if I don't get my plate by May 4, I will file a complaint sa DTI against them. They processed my plate and it was releases May 1. However, coding was same as my old car. So I went to LTO today to have it replaced. Took them an hour, but I got my plate pa din today. This shows that threatening the dealer can work as well.

For those who will get their unit through bank financing or lease, para may leverage kayo, ask your account officer for the option to hold the payment to the dealer until they provide you the plate.

Yung order ko na Ertiga will be released next week. The dealer comitted na maximum of two weeks for the plate. Kapag pinatagal nila eh di wala silang makukuhang bayad sa bank ...

Hi! nag follow up ako sa dealerand it's 30 days now after ng car delivery. Ipapadala.na lang daw ng LTO via Air21 ang OR/CR at plate. Asked ko saan ba sila nag register na LTO? Reshuffle daw ang branches...ha? Bakit di ibigay sa akin ang name ng LTO branch? Can somebody help me as to where nagre-register ang peak motors abad santos? Or sa East Ave po ba, pede ako mag inquire.... woman's agony...

ask ko lang nag file ako ng complain against my dealer... nung may 8 ang show cause order sa kanila.. kaso di ako naka punta kaya di ko alam naging usapan ano ang next steps ko? under financing ako.. ty po sa sasagot

Call or puntahan and mahabang patience... Sayang yung chance na hindi ka nakasipot.

Pag wala transmittal hindi kapa registered.

Pag ayaw ibigay sayo yung transmittal pero they insist na submitted kana, ask mo kung saan nila niregister at kelan. Call the lto branch concerned.

Nung kinuha ko yung unit ko last Tuesday, nakikiusap yung finance department na gumawa ako ng letter sa bank to release the payment to them kahit wala pa plate.

Sinabihan ko na lang na they just need to comply with the issuance of plate and wala nang mahaba usapan babayaran agad sila ng bank nag agree naman sila sa arrangement with my account officer and it is clearly stipulated in the requirement...
