Filing a complaint against your dealer with the LTO

Kung meron ka nang plate, ok lang lalo na kung nag issue sila ng multiple invoices. Sa hearing namin, hinihingi nila yun at ifoforward daw sa Secretary, pati kay Kim Henares din ata. Saka kahit binigyan ka ng plate after the hearing pwede pa rin ipursue ang case lalo na kung talagang may fault sila sa delay. Yung sakin binigay na ang plate after the hearing, pero hindi ko pa iwiwithdraw ang case.. bahala sila sa buhay nila, sa tindi ng abalang ginawa nila sakin. Inabala nila ko, pwes aabalahin ko rin sila. Buti nga, nagpunta ang manager at general manager sa hearing at abogado nila, kahit papano nakaganti din sa abala.

Just an advice doc, it may be better to forget about the case na. For one, it will not prosper in LTO because the plate has been issued already. For another, the LTO will not adjudicate damages in your favor. Better to charge na lang sa experience and don't buy again from the same dealer. Should you really want to seek compensation for all the trouble caused, you may need to file it before a court. It spells more costs and inconvenience and it may not be worth it in the end.

Thanks to this thread, I got my plate today. Last Thursday, I threatened my dealer & told them that if I don't get my plate by May 4, I will file a complaint sa DTI against them. They processed my plate and it was releases May 1. However, coding was same as my old car. So I went to LTO today to have it replaced. Took them an hour, but I got my plate pa din today. This shows that threatening the dealer can work as well.

For those who will get their unit through bank financing or lease, para may leverage kayo, ask your account officer for the option to hold the payment to the dealer until they provide you the plate.

Meron na nagoofer ng ganyan arrangement you just need to ask.

^ masusubukan ko yang setup na yan bro...

Yung order ko na Ertiga will be released next week. The dealer comitted na maximum of two weeks for the plate. Kapag pinatagal nila eh di wala silang makukuhang bayad sa bank ...

Hi! nag follow up ako sa dealerand it's 30 days now after ng car delivery. Ipapadala.na lang daw ng LTO via Air21 ang OR/CR at plate. Asked ko saan ba sila nag register na LTO? Reshuffle daw ang branches...ha? Bakit di ibigay sa akin ang name ng LTO branch? Can somebody help me as to where nagre-register ang peak motors abad santos? Or sa East Ave po ba, pede ako mag inquire.... woman's agony...
