Sa EDSA Balintawak nga nagiging legal pagbebenta ng products sa kalsada and free parking din sa kalsada mga nagbabagsak ng products and buyer. May MMDA personnel pa dun ha. Haha. Di ko maalala kung si Bayani o si "Tol" nakapagayos ng Balintawak.

Duterte: Reclaim, clear all public roads to solve traffic

President Duterte orders mayors, governors to cooperate with road clearing, or be suspended

During his fourth State of the Nation Address yesterday, President Rodrigo Duterte addressed the issue of traffic congestion. There, he said that the country loses Php 3.5 billion a day due to traffic in Metro Manila. He then instructed the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and local government units (LGUs) to ensure the 'speedy and smooth flow of traffic' in their respective jurisdictions.

“Reclaim all public roads that are being used for private entities. Marami diyan (there are lot there),” said the President. He tackled the issue of officials not going along with the plan to clear the streets, stating that establishments (both formal and informal) that are favored by a city government's which impede the flow of traffic must be shut down. He went on to tell DILG (Department of Interior and Local Government) secretary Eduardo Año to suspend mayors or governors who refuse to comply.

"If there is a mayor or governor, kung sino kang demonyo ka, i-suspend mo (whoever demon he is, suspend him). Give him time, and if he cannot, isuspend mo na lang, wala tayong magawa (just suspend him, we cannot do anything). They just keep on pleasing their own constituents," said President Duterte.

One city actively and prominently taking back the streets is Manila, under the leadership of newly elected Mayor Francisco 'Isko' Moreno Domagoso. Recently, there was a major cleanup operation which cleared the streets of Divisoria, Carriedo, and Bluementritt. Moreno has been proactive in the city's drive to clear the streets of the capital from obstructions.

Ang topic eh about sa deparment of interior and local government. Grabe wala pala silang power to suspend mga governors, mayors and barangay officials. Ififile pala nila sa ombudsman and trial courts. Taga serve lang sila kung suspended na.

Ang presidente lang pala ang may power.

Ini-explain nung undersecretay dino na ang tagal daw natutulog sa korte mga finile nya kaso.

Eh ngayon naging confident na sila kasi presidente na mismo nagpapautos na pag hindi tinangal mga sagabal sa kalsada eh sibak kang mayor at barangay squammy.

ito napapaisip ako kung paano mawawala squatter sa may tapat wheels inc erod all the way to san juan aurora blvd yan. Kung government may-ari ng lupa na yan eh gawin na lang kunyari road muna proposal tapos pag naalis na mga squammy eh gawin ng open space greenery park. Malawak lugar na yan kasi jan ako nagkakapangchicks mga kahawig ni beyonce. Mga ganyan looban may mga panalo jan.

dati pa gusto palayasin ni bayani fernando yan kaso waley din power si mmda pag kumontra ang mayores sa city hall.

kung si bayani lang ang mmda ngayon eh tangal yan mga squatter and confiscated mga benta sidewalk vendors. Masyado democrasya si nebrija walang mangyayari sa ganyan.

I said he has 3 options..

1. Pay the 1k month parking
2. Renovate his garage
3. Or legal action( yeah sure..)

I told him, he doesnt own the side walk and he cannot make it his own parking space..i imagine this is what happened to him..
