its main function is deterrence. the locking down part is secondary.

sa totoo lang, most chains can be cut by a determined thief.
but it will take time and preparation (i.e., special equipment), which thieves do not want to gamble on.

    my opinion.

    OT.
when my spare got stolen, i replaced it with a steel rimed tire. hindi na pinag-interesan.
Thanks doc! Will get one tomorrow!

You can have this done outside naman for cheaper.

As long as hindi ibaboy yung stock wiring mo, you shouldn't have problems with the electricals in the future.

If wala kang alam sa wiring and the do-s and dont-s of splicing and tapping, I suggest sa casa ka nalang magpagawa.

Hindi all or nothing yung mga warranty.

IE. If biglang nasira yung headlights mo at walang kinalaman yung pagkabit ng camera, dapat ok pa yung warranty mo for the headlights.

Pero if nasira yung head unit mo and nakita nilang may ginalaw yung mga tao sa labas na mukhang binaboy yung wiring/hindi standard install procedure, they can blame it on your install.

Actually the problem when I got the unit... they were releasing 300% of their usual bandwidth. Nagrelease sila ng 60 units (and counting) compared to the usual 20 units max. This was last Dec 29th. hahaha so hindi nila naexplain ang warranty part. LOL!

Good perception... actually nasampolan yung kuya ko when backing up. kakukuha lang ng unit last dec 29th.. nabunggo yung rear bumper last 30th. nabunggo sa poste ng gate namin.. which triggered me in buying that rear camera.

Welcome! Glad to be of help. You just have to double check your phone casing though. Make sure that the it has no cover at the bottom para umabot yung charging pin.

Just installed a rear camera yesterday... #burn.

    Is that good?
