Second, I've looked into the discussion on 3m's available tints dito sa tsikot forum, but I'm a bit unsure about this: Tama ba yung yung Magic na inaalok ng dealer is yung BC, and yung black shade is yung CS? Or FX lang ang ikakabit nila?

Pasensya na if i'm posting in the wrong forum pero kasi I want sana input from Fortuner owners lang. Thanks for any info.

Actually I would also consider the color of the car with my tint shade. Pero biased talaga ako sa dark over magic tint.

i've always been partial to 3M magic tints. even my cars back in the 90s had them. BC20 is what I usually have installed. pero its your preference and style naman sir. choose what you think looks good to you

Since I cant start a new thread yet, magtatanong na lang po muna ako dito. This is a bit offtopic pero it would help us alot kung may nakakaalam po ng contact no. ng Toyota Ilocos Norte, located at San Nicolas.

We are from Cagayan Valley, bought the fort at Toyota Isabela which is 6hrs from our home. Now Toyota Ilocos Norte opened and is only 2hrs away from us.
lakay. .. toyota la union is listed. . . best to call them po since they're one company.

    Hello friends,

Can I ask a 3M tint question? The dealer installed super black 3M tint on all windows (i.e. black all around, visor only on front windshield) on my ride, and now during the evenings, the instrumentation on the driver side emits a significant amout of glare that I end up seeing reflected on the inside of the driver side window. In effect, I don't see anything else except a reflection of the gauge cluster. I suspect it's a function of the super black tint, and that there's really not much I can do, but I thought I would ask anyway: meron bang super black product na reduced ang glare on the inside?

Have you tried lowering the brightness of your gauge cluster to minimize glare at night?

Yes, sadly the lowering helps reduce the reflections, this is true, but it doesn't really help me see much of anything outside. Perhaps I should just replace the tint with a lighter shade.

Pa-advise naman sa limited na listahan ko kung saan maganda kumuha:

    2. tire lock - puwede naba yung nasa OLX?
    3. rain guard - may branding ba to? All black lang para di masira yung floating roof

    Maraming salamat!!!!

    PS.

    Grats on the ride sir...

    1) For mats I went with the Hippo techmat, got them from partspro.ph. Deep, easy to clean, but it doesn't have the fabric look if that's what you're into. Matte plastic because it is...

    2) Tire lock - do you mean the spare tire lock? Or wheel (lug nut) locks?

    3) Rain guard - I went with the "OEM" from the dealer because I needed to use up my "Genuine Accessories" amount to get the car right away.

p.s. for detailing, Big Berts looks pretty good. If you like home service, James Car Care did a good job when they detailed my car and applied 9H ceramic to it. Very professional, and they will come to your place to detail.

tire lock? for the spare tire?
i buy the cheap bike lock from the mall.

in my opinion, the main function of these locks, is deterrence.
if the thief wants really, to steal your tire, he will succeed, given enough time.
the lock is just to tell him, "this will take more time; am i willing to chance it?".
