Check you tire pressures... Units fresh from the dealers usually have over-inflated tires (as high as 45 psi). 29-30 psi should do the trick...
Got my Turbo Timer from Miggyboy for less than P2T before the eVAT. The price is exclusive of installation. Try to PM him.

January 17th, 2006 01:02 PM #1936Sirs,
Hindi po sedan ang nakuha nating ride. Remember it's an SUV. So in terms of ride comfort malayo po sa mga usual sedans natin. The body is bigger - especially the fortuner. Ang main selling point naman po ng mga SUVs is a bigger cabin with room for a lot of things -- not exactly the great comfort with the ride. These are the things that was compromised nung nag palit tayo ng SUV.
Just like wht Vicoyski said, we can reduce the air pressure from the tires para maging a little less bumpy/stiff/matagtag ang ride natin. But still it won't compare to the sedans that we owned.
Jsut my 2 cents...

m having reservations on installing the turbo timer. one of our friends went to thailand and looked for turbo timer made "by toyota for fortuner". he found none. all the turbo timers available in the market are made by aftermarket companies. why is this so?
bro vicoy, any insights on this?

Even most in-house CASA accessories are aftermarket units wrapped in different packaging. The Mitsubishi tire sensors, Everest backing mirror, Expedition backing sensor, etc. Even the Ralliart wheels are subcontracted by Mitsubishi.
I'm guessing it's the same case with the Toyota turbo timer. It just pays to have it casa installed to avoid warranty issues.

bro otep,
there's none made or packaged as toyota product. the one i saw is made by an aftermarket company, designed for VIGO(locally HILUX).
my question is this: if the turbo timer is necessary, why toyota did not make such a product?
takot kasi ako magkabit ng hindi gawa ng manufacturer ng oto. please enlighten me on this. thank you.
And also edit option is not allowed anymore
